We can do the impossible. I would not be a Christian if science could solve all our problems and answer all of our questions. You have to prove that Faith in God is more than a placebo. When we do construction work and run into a problem we just keep working and eventually it will work itself out. Jesus said count the cost but for the most part when the lay a foundation to build a building, the building gets built.

For me a miracle is the opposite of what most people claim. I say a miracles is the law of God being restored, not violated. God does not break His own laws. Jesus makes it clear that lawless people will not enter into the Kingdom of God. Jesus died to set us free, not to keep us in bondage to sin.

The Egyptian pyramids were built over the course of a very long time.

The earliest pyramid is the Pyramid of Djoser, built around 2700 BC. The most recent pyramid is the Pyramid of Ahmose I, whose reign began around 1550 BC.

So for around 1,200 years the Egyptians were building pyramids to entomb their rulers; the most famous and impressive of these colossal tombs are the Great Pyramids of Giza.

As to how they did it? Engineering. Even the most impressive of these structures can be explained by mathematics, engineering, and elbow grease. They had the tools, the know-how, and the man power.

Thousands of people, but not necessarily slaves. There does not appear to be any evidence that slave labor played a significant part in the construction of the pyramids.

I actually heard something about this today my son was watching it online. Evidently some new tech that is similar to Lidar except this is able to see down to 2cm from memory as opposed to 2 meters or whatever the current tech could reach.

Lidar has been able to detech ruins a few feet under the ground. It was used in South American to detect pyramids and structures under the jungle canopy where everyone thought there was nothing.

This tech penetrates much deeper and in more detail. It has been known there were underground tunnels and chambers for a long time. One temple was discovered years ago and then shut down and no one allowed in. Some are subject to water damage as the water table rises.

I think this is probably not part of the pyramids but the pyramids have been built over and were there much earlier because we have examples of underground chambers and tunnels without pyramids dating before the pyramids.

In fact part of the tunnels are natural caves as a result of subterrainian water ways which the Egyptains used and expanded on.

Yes and this is where tech allows us to discover hidden parts of our own history. But as I mentioned earlier there are a lot more investigators and some are independent. So theres more eyes out in the field and they are not bound by mainstream orthodoxy.

They can bring to light discoveries that may be hidden or may have been disregarded by earlier discoveries. Like Gobekli Tepe. Some of these great finds have been sitting in Museum basements only to be rediscovered in new light.

I can't wait either. I like adventures into somewhere we have not been before where humans once lived. It reveals more about who we are.

People have been building new structures over old ones for as long as we've been building anything. We still do it, we still tear down buildings and build new ones. There are hundreds of old churches that were built over, or exanded upon, earlier churches--in fact historically churches were built over important sites, such as the graves of saints, or where a particular miracle occurred. This is why, historically, churches are named after saints. "The church of St. So-and-So" is called that because it was built where the remains of that saint was interred.

It shouldn't be particularly shocking that the Egyptians, then, built more elaborate burial chambers on the site of older burial chambers. That there may be older burial sites under some of the pyramids is certainly cool, and it can teach us more about Egyptian history; but it's not paradigm-shaking information. It just means there is a bit more to learn about ancient Egypt.

I'm not really sure why you quoted my statement about the lack of evidence of slave labor in the building of the pyramids to bring this up. The presence of earlier structures on top of which the Egyptians built more structures wouldn't change the fact that there isn't any evidence to support the idea that the pyramids were built by slaves.

OK whats going on with this latest discovery under the pyramids. Does this change who built them.

What I can't understand when people say that the pyramids and everything associated with them such as the temples, chambers, statues, boxes, vases, pillars, everything was made by primitive people in loin cloths with hand saws, chisels and stone hammers.

That seems more implausable than aliens doing it lol. The tools in the archeological records are totally inadequate to account for what we find. It would be like saying the empire state building was built with a kids toy plastic tool set.

Where's the outer limestone casing that's the big question.

The average erosion rate of limestone is about 1cm every 2,000 years in that area of the world. A past ruler obvious removed it to conceal its real age, which is over 10,000 yrs old.

I have read and heard some wild claims about how the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt were built. They are fascinating buildings from a structural and you could say technological point of view. The theory that people from Sub-Saharan region built them is beyond silly, because there has been almost zero monuments built or any real history written there prior to middle ages before the Europeans arrived.

The Alien theory should be dismissed outright before even taken into account, since it's just demonic nonsense from a Christian point of view.
