I know I should be ecstatic that I am not showing, but I am almost 5 1/2 months along and my stomach looks exactly the same pre-pregnancy. When I go and buy baby clothes, I am always asked, " Who are you buying clothes for?" or "How many months old is your baby?" My response, "She hasn't been born yet."
Also I haven't begun to discern feeling fetal movements.

The doctor has reassured me that everything was fine.

How long did it take before you started showing a belly and feeling fetal movements?

I generally start showing (as in "don't look fat") around 5-6 months. Last month you could obviously tell without maternity tops that I was pregnant...

Feeling fetal movements took longer this pregnancy, probably due to where he was and his position - I felt him about 2-3 months in. However, I felt my first well before 16 weeks, when most people begin feeling their little ones. With Jonathan I felt him like popcorn very early, and then felt him bouncing around actively. I could tell the dr where he was before an U/S and if he was asleep or not.

This one, I was never really that sure what he was up to, but he is really active at intervals of the day, and even more so at night (He's a little mixed up with our time change I think. :D) -- I can feel him moving his arms/hands, kicking my ribs and turning around. It felt like he was sucking his thumb and lost it a few times and got really upset this evening. Quite comical actually. ;)

I guess Im just weird because I haven't experienced anything yet..
Some women never do, to be honest. I know one of my aunts said she never felt my cousin move, or kick or anything.

My good friend didn't start feeling her LO more until the 3rd trimester.

Perhaps your placenta is placed on the front wall (anterior) rather than the back wall (posterior) and is dimming the baby's movements. It quite normal and can delay the first feelings of movement.

As for showing. In my last pregnancy I didn't start to show at all until 5-6 months, and even then if I wore the right clothes I didn't look pregnant at all. This time I have gotten much fatter^_^ and have more of a belly (I am 5 months) but I still don't look pregnant apparently - just fat.^_^

Have you had scans? Heard the heartbeat? You could always ask to have an extra appointment to hear the heartbeat if you are worried about it.

I didn't start showing until around 15 weeks, and as previously stated, it was a smaller bump.

I was very obviously pregnant by late my 5th month. I started feeling fetal movement with this on at 13 weeks. My first I was 18 weeks.
