They are also right wing.
Actually, Nazis were socialists and were early green socialists in the sense discussed today, as the book Green Tyranny documents. "Few know today that the Nazis were the first political party to champion wind power, Hitler calling wind the energy of the future."
It's funny that you can't see it. It is like you're looking in a mirror, but can't see the reflection. Quite sad.
Gay whites are seen as allies by the campus left. White students are held down in the sense that they're told their ancestors were racists and that white students are beneficiaries of white privilege. They must bear the guilt burden. Since any type of Euro-student center or emphasis would be seen as racist on campus, white supremacy from the outside has filled the vacuum. Christianity could fill the vacuum, but its activities are restricted on campus.
Sorry. No conspiracy. I have the book in hand. See these pages.Oh my! Doing some reading on that "book" it appears that Mr. Darwall is espousing conspiracy theory instead of history. A quick Google search shows that the only source for this Godwining of wind energy appears to be... Darwall's "book".
It seems somewhat evident in the news. And yes, I've seen a little of it first-hand. A black student told me that racism was passed on to children through their parents, even if the children came to know better as adults. On a broader note, Gore Vidal once argued that Jews, blacks, and gays needed to "join forces in order not to be destroyed" by Christians, presumably white Christians. If you don't mind me asking, do you know this from personal experience, or is this "common knowledge"?

I think the increasing presence of white supremacists on campus is not something borne of the student body, I think they're mostly outsiders. That is wholly different from on-campus discourse seen on college campuses. If anything, I think the right-wing college students like to flirt with white supremacy without going full hog. They often flirt with it under the guise of free speech, but my attitude is if they really are all about free speech, why don't they invite some Hoteps or Black Israelites on campus?
I never understood these claims of Christian persecution on campus, the Christian groups have always been active. At every university I have attended or worked, there has always been an active Christian group, and no one is attacking them. There are six organizations at my undergraduate institution; and I know there are more than my cursory Google Search because there were some I didn't see there. And that also doesn't include the students that have their own Bible study groups. That's a Conservative advocacy group, not a news source.
I don't know what any of that has to do with white students being "held down" and the claims you made. As far as Christianity on campus goes, I checked out my alma mater and there are 6 different Christian organizations officially recognized by the university.

But maybe we should now claim that people that suggest there is Christian persecution, whether true or not, are anti-Christian, we all know that claim is made for people that identify white supremacy.
Christian groups are allowed to stay on secular campuses as long as they go along with the ideology prompted on these campuses. If these groups challenge the ideology, especially related to homosexuality or Christianity as the one true way, their presence on campus could be challenged, and has been in some cases,I never understood these claims of Christian persecution on campus, the Christian groups have always been active. Don't believe it. Please show this is a real article published in a legitimate campus newspaper. It's a backlash against the ultra-PC left, which has produced campus articles like this one,

Texas student paper blasted for 'anti-white article' | Daily Mail OnlineDon't believe it. Please show this is a real article published in a legitimate campus newspaper.
Given what follows, that post of yours was deeply misleading. Yes, the article was indeed published. But the fact that the newspaper fired the writer and disavowed the article undermines your implication that this view is widespread on the left.
That backlash began decades ago. It's called "college Republicans".
This is white supremacists aiming for some market share now that the current administration is normalizing their "brand."
So they become supremacists?
Every public school organization must adhere to non-discrimination laws, it is not a matter of college campuses, it is a matter of law. You can't get state funds and then discriminate against a group of people. Every public school organization follows this. I do not know why there are Christians that believe the law applies to others, but not to them.Christian groups are allowed to stay on secular campuses as long as they go along with the ideology prompted on these campuses.
