  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Anyone else here like to do other things while listening to music? Which kinds of music?

I like to listen to music while writing, sewing, browsing the internet, working on things, even while playing video games! But my favorite time to listen to music is while I'm drawing. I think it makes drawing even more enjoyable. :)

I used to mostly listen to older secular music while drawing, etc. More recently I started listening to more Christian music because it's clean and inspiring with good messages. I've found many great songs that way! I also like to listen to video game music. :musicnotes:

I'm not a huge multitasker, but I do like listening to music a lot. Including video game soundtracks.

Some Christian bands I recommend are Toby Mac, Skillet, Flyleaf, Newsboys, Switchfoot, Thousand Foot Krutch...

Good, Bible based hymns are profitable to listen to! Amazing grace is a real favorite.

Yeah for sure. I work a night shift, absolutely I need to play something to keep me going.

Lot of different music. Lot of it is 90's because that's when I grew up. Lately I've been listening to a lot of Outkast and Fear Factory. I enjoy Vince Staples latest a lot as well. I usually listen to some kind of EDM when I go running.
