Which Thompson Chain Reference version should I get?

NKJV
NASB
NIV

???

My understanding is that the NKJV has the complete chains, based on the preface to that version. How important is that?

Does any version work better with the chain system than others?

These are probably silly questions, but I'm just looking for a good Thompson to last me a while.

I'll be getting a Strong's, as well.

Hey brother,

I have a Thompson Chain that I keep on my desk at work and use it often. As a day to day I prefer the Westminster Reference Bible from TBS. It has more references and better construction. It only comes with the Authorized Version which might be a draw back to some.
