Which preachers do you listen to?

The other day on my TV there was a Christian’s show on [maybe it was World Vision or Compassion USA] concerning adopting a foster child. The speaker was a middle age, bald, slightly overweight, Caucasian male. [He looked like the father[Peter Boyle] of Raymond on the show “Everybody loves Raymond” ]
He said he was a pastor of an Afro American church and made references to Afro American Christian culture. He was passionate, funny, and deeply moving. I heard him speak for about 15 minutes before I had to leave for work. I would love to hear more from him but I didn’t catch his name. Does my description ring any bells?

A local channel gets the Van Impes of Sundays. I enjoy them, especially when they try and match their outfits.

When I saw that special that debunked his operation, that turned me off too.
