  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Which greens are best?

Well, "most healthy" is a bit vague, and subjective too. They each have somewhat different strengths. To actually rank them, you'd have to decide exactly which vitamins or minerals you were basing on, etc. And frankly, a specific ranking probably is counterproductive, since variety is essential to health.

All that said, very hard to go wrong with the leafy greens, like spinach and kale -- they pack an amazing health punch. Lightly saute them with a little garlic. Yum.

I'm also partial to asparagus, steamed.

It's not really a vegetable, but spirulina. Mix it with a drink or take it in tablets. You consume a little and get a lot of nutrients and minerals, thats why they send astronauts off into space with it now.

Also, the darker the vegetable only means it has more chlorophyl.

Steamed broccoli with Lemon + Olive Oil + Salt for protein.
YUM!
Also, I hear lettuce is the least nutritious veggie ever.
Spinach dishes are easy to make and yummy with rice.
I live in an Asian health conscious country that loves veggies so I'm quite lucky I don't have this problem much.
