Why should it have anything to do with fictitious places like Heaven, Hell or Narnia? they are all in LaLa land.More like it's a matter of Heaven or Hell.
I take all of reality into account. Why should it have anything to do with fictitious places ... ?
It's because reality is not very nice you have looked for something beyond reality?I take all of reality into account.
More like Reality went looking for me.It's because reality is not very nice you have looked for something beyond reality?
Good for you.If living my life has taught me anything it's this, the biggest problem we all face has nothing to do with whether something is true or not, our problem is what we can get ourselves to believe, if we can make ourselves believe the irrational and the impossible then all our troubles will be over and we can die in a happy frame of mind believing what ever we want, some can do that others can't, you can but I can't, some of us have no option other than to face reality head on and live our lives to the fullest.
Yes of course it did reality is famous for doing that.More like Reality went looking for me.
Yes that's true there are many ways of coping with reality.Others cope with their reality from a bottle, a prescription, or both ... or worse.
I know what's coming.Yes that's true there are may ways of coping with reality.
That's the central question in The Matrix movie isn't it? Do you want to live an unreal fantasy that feels absolutely fantastic, or do you want gritty old reality with its disappointments and blows to the ego but compensations in everything being real and sometimes the more amazing for it, but not always. If living my life has taught me anything it's this, the biggest problem we all face has nothing to do with whether something is true or not, our problem is what we can get ourselves to believe, if we can make ourselves believe the irrational and the impossible then all our troubles will be over and we can die in a happy frame of mind believing what ever we want, some can do that others can't, you can but I can't, some of us have no option other than to face reality head on and live our lives to the fullest.

In other words, I was expecting someone to ask me if I cope with reality by posting numbers all day long?3316204?
You have completely lost me.
That's right, life is all about fooling ourselves and then hoping that we don't notice that we're fooling ourselves. That's the central question in The Matrix movie isn't it? Do you want to live an unreal fantasy that feels absolutely fantastic, or do you want gritty old reality with its disappointments and blows to the ego but compensations in everything being real and sometimes the more amazing for it, but not always.
Of course, our entire interpretation of the world around us is a fantasy really, from the colours we see to the reasons we have for getting out of bed in the morning, but there are degrees of fantasy, or its twin: fantasy dependence, that we can all recognise. The substance abuser, the cult member who shaves his head and goes round in a white robe chanting "Om", the teenage One Direction fan, the middle aged man on his Harley Davidson, they are all doing the same thing really, living in or visiting a fantasy world. Starring in their own movie if you like. They are putting themselves in a story that is different from the one they live in every day. We all do it one way or another. But there are degrees to this. The substance abuser can live in this parallel universe indefinitely, or until the drugs stop working, which make that particular fantasy world very dangerous indeed. The guy on his Harley is probably ok as long he doesn't fall off and break his neck. We can make pretty good guesses as to the pros and cons of these fantasies. Which brings us to this forum...
Still not with you, how do you post numbers all day I haven't seen any numbers being posted? In other words, I was expecting someone to ask me if I cope with reality by posting numbers all day long?
