I don't have a denomination, and I don't belong to the category of non-denomination either. You don't have to stay in a non-denominational church to be a non-denominational. For ten years, I attended a Baptist church and never called myself a Baptist. I was a Christian in a Baptist church. I'm a Christian. The word "Christian" is in the Bible. I am a member of the Body of Christ.
Why does Christianity have so many denominations?
Christians value religious freedoms.
Denominations and their beliefs
Mainline churches tend to have more tick marks than evangelicals.
Denominations disagree with one another on doctrinal issues. Each denomination has its strengths and weaknesses. I set a program to visit all religious places accessible by Toronto's TTC. For this reason, I routinely visited denominational and non-denominational churches. I attended Catholic mass, Jewish synagogue, Muslim mosque, Mormon temple, Jehovah's Witness kingdom hall, Buddhist temple, and even some New Age meetings. I don't recommend this practice to everyone. It's good to have a home church and stay put
Why does Christianity have so many denominations, while other major religions may have 2 or none (1)?
Instead of denominations, other religions have sects. Instead of the problem of denominationalism, they have the problem of sectarianism.
Are sectarianism and denominationalism sins?
1 Corinthians 3:
Calvinism, Arminianism, dispensationalism, cessationism, continuationism, and any kind of ism tend to over-generalize. From my encounters of over three decades, I've found that people not trained in first-order logic tend to over-generalize more than those who know FOL. I am neither liberal nor conservative nor middle-of-the-road. I am logical, or at least trying to be
Regarding biblical accuracy, which denomination of Christianity is correct or closest to correct?
No denomination is completely accurate. How do you measure closest to correct? It all depends on which issues you place more weight on. I employ a denomination-free, disciplined logical approach to Biblical interpretation.
With so many denominations disagreeing on practices, how should a Christian choose in his daily living?
As Christians, we have the Paraclete Indwelling Spirit, John 14:

- The Paraclete speaks to our consciences in our daily activities.
- I employ first-order logic to interpret the Bible.]
- Let the peace of Christ guide us.
I started this subreddit to sort out some of these messy issues based on a denomination-free, disciplined, logical, and probabilistic approach to Biblical interpretation. Instead of forming an association by a fixed set of doctrines as denominational and non-denominational churches do, I attempt to create an informal association by a methodology by which any doctrine can be checked against. It is a dynamic way of forming an association. I read different English translations of the Bible and commentaries, but I have no favorite Bible versions or commentators. I evaluate each specific issue according to this denomination-free hermeneutic.27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
