Your conclusions are based on faulty reasoning.

1. The point in question is: Which day of the week is the Sabbath? Not whether SDAs do everyting in the NT. Discuss one topic at a time, to avoid confusion.

2. SDAs do not blindly do what the SDA church teaches. SDAs are taught to check everything that the church teaches, and the preachers teach, with the Bible, like all Protestants should. You are not a true Protestant because you accept as biblical, Sunday worship which has no Biblical authority only the traditons of men to back it up. We have 28 fundamental beliefs, with the Sabbath and the Law of God doctrine being one of them.

3. The 7th day Sabbath did not shift in its sequence during the time of Jewish nation. Jesus himself spoke with Moses face to face, and the children of Israel were feed with manna for forty years (2,080 Sabbaths) with a double measure falling on Friday the preparation day, and none on the 7th day. How could they loose track of the order of days considering the above facts? Even a Jew who was mentally retarded could have known which day the Sabbath was!

4. When Jesus came to this earth as a man in the first century, if there were any discrepencies regarding the Sabbath, Jesus would have made the correction. But, there was not, that is why you see Jesus keeping the Sabbath in his childhood, youth, and adult life, and even in the grave He rested on the Sabbath!

5. The two most literal translations (ESV and NASB), give a clearer meaning to Hebrews 4:9; "So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God." Note, that is uses the capital "S" in the word Sabbath, meaning that the 7th day Sabbath is still the divine day of rest for God's true people in the NT and beyond, and forever in heaven, as Isaiah 66:23 states.

I can assure that the Sabbath is not the only thing that SDA's preach about.

It is very important but it never saves a person.

Never has and never will.

You go into an SDA Church on Sabbath morning and probably the Sabbath would be one of the last doctrines that would be preached on.

Try Eph. 2:8,9.

Over 12 months you would more than likely get the subject of Salvation more than any other subject.

In fact I have given you the link to all the Sabbath texts, what more do you want?

Cliff, you want scripture but won't give any for your side of the debate. You only assume they all kept the Sabbath. You only assume the Sabbath was always on Saturday. You only assume and expect us to believe you know what day is the Sabbath, without any direct scripture.

Telling me about the passages with the word sabbath in them is not a command to keep it.

The N. T. also tells how they would heal the sick and raise the dead.

At Pentecost there was a High sabbath and the the weekly sabbath. This would set the weekly sabbath up by one day, so that every day of the week has at one time or another been the sabbath.

You have been asked to prove this, which you have yet to do. So, I don't believe you until you can prove it.

You are not fair with yourself. You give me links but when I gave you information from a link you questioned if it was true!

Now I question your links on the Sabbath. I ask for direct scripture in the NT the commanded us to keep the Sabbath. You never gave it.

I ask other questions that you are not answering and I know why. The fact is Brother Cliff; your doctrine is based on a calendar not the Bible.

Some in this thread seem to know what happend hundreds, even a thousand years before they were born. It is a historical fact that we are dated by a fairly new claendar system. History also shows at least some of the changes made in the calendar. Yet there are some who guarantee that the weekly system we have now is the same as when God rested after the six days of re-creation!

A piece of paper on the wall with seven slots on it marked with names of days is used to prove a doctrine that cannot be poven with scripture. This is folly and the people that do this will not answer questions with fact. The answers I am getting are a mix of assumption, false teachings, and links.

Now is the time people to give a simple scripture to a simple question.

Normann, you accuse people of the very things you do, that is hypocrisy. People have responded directly to just about ALL your post and you have not answered any question directed to you. This is just a one sided conversation. Normann how about you answer some of the questions posed to you, if you can't just say you don't know, not everyone knows all about biblical topics. You asked for proof about the calendar we gave you history, you say history is worthless, you say the word 'saturday' has to be in the bible in order for you to believe it but you have been shown in history from Ex 16 to Jesus' time, through the early church down to the reformation and up to today which day the Sabbath is and you still refuse to accept it. The Catholics on the forum acknowledge which day it is and they are rich in history of the church. You question of saying where in the bible does it say saturday is the Sabbath is like me asking you, where in the bible does it say you were born, it just isn't in there, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Maybe you should answer some question, it looks to me that you are just ignoring the questions that will show you to be in error about what you are saying, but avoiding them will not make them go away, until you can answer those questions which has been posed to you in this thread the Sabbath will still be from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown and you just saying it isn't is meaningless, when we have the scriptures, history and reasoning on our side.
