Ok,
I'm increasingly hating my job
Well, you've got two choices, as I'm sure you've figured out:
You need to change your attitude toward work or change your work.
Now, I'll outline a few ways you can use to figure out which, but first I think I think I should remind you that G-d is here to support you, He's on your side, and He will be behind you no matter want your decision

, alright here's our first sign, this emotion is often telling us we haven't clarified "what we want". So a good way to react is to sit down and write out a simple small "plan of action"(don't just think career) of what we want, what we'll give and why; yet before one can do that, it's important to "change your state", here's my suggestion:
1) take a few moments (e.g. 10 mins) and try and think of all the things you are grateful for (people, events, possessions, memories) and don't be afraid to say out loud "thank you God" or anyone else involved, including yourself.
2) Ok, now your in a clear state, start to try and think of what came out of any experience(work or otherwise) that made you feel "rewarded"! Write them down(e.g. praise, gifts, community, security, money*).
3) Now, try and think what you have to offer, like a resume, but just for yourself, and write them down(leave space under them). (e.g. loyal, good communication, energetic, motivator, studious)
4) take about a minute on each skill, and write down as many specific examples of you using it in the past as you can remember.
5) bring up each example in your mind and try write down the reward(s) it offered (e.g. praise, gifts, community, security, money*).
6) now go back to your first list, and prioritize it
*) Alight now your in the right state, write out what your work currently offers, and what you are currently offering for that reward; and three reasons why you think your there. Now, a quick sentence or two of what you could do to improve what you offer, and another two on what reward you would expect....hmmmm, awesome
Read it over!
At this point you will have a clear picture if you NEED a new career/big change

Which is a good start to figuring out what God wants from you.
Would the Lord want me to leave my job even though it would put our family in financial stress?
If you aren't getting the rewards you are looking for (which are almost never financial) then you likely are already in "financial stress" and are handling it just fine(you tell me). The LORD will support you! If and when you get the rewards that are meaningful to you, only then can you offer your potential and in so overcome "financial stress".
Also something to think about is your heath, Gods greatest showing of reward to his favoured was in this area, and it's been proven time and time again, that it is 100% your environment, so I say better temporarily poor on the road to wealth(beyond money), then sick, lame, and unavailable!
Peace,
Conrad
