I wanted to stop in and say HI! I just started Writing on more of a fulltime bases, I thought I would post one of my more current writings. Hope you are all blessed by reading it?.

Where is GOD?!
I have asked myself Where is GOD?, I listen to the news and hear what is happening around the world. We as humans have become so centered on our selfs, WHY?.
Can it be that the farther we get from GOD, the more self serving we as a whole become?.
I believe this with all my heart. When our daughter died of cancer I was beside myself with grief and anger, WHY would GOD do this?. Why would a GOD that says he love's us in the bible do this to us?. Why would all the prayers go unanswered?. Why would he make all the promises and not live up to them?. It felt like he completely abandoned us, We felt like he left us to rot in our own misery.
To this day only four months later, I still ask myself. Why did Sophia get cancer to begin with?.
He could have stopped it dead in it's tracks, or he could have used this horrible disease to show his mercy. Imagine the testimony of healing her, the glory he would have received from her complete healing?. Then it HIT ME, Like a base ball bat across the head.
He is GOD, he is the epitome of SELFLESSNESS. He gave us his son, he made us in his imagine.
We are to be like CHIRST. Christ Jesus was Selfless, He gave himself to us.
So to answer my own question, WHERE is GOD?!
He's right there he has always been there, Crying with us, We think that GOD is all about glory and praise. Maybe just maybe, he all about self..............Less. Maybe he wants us to love him and obey him with our free will, another one of his selfless acts. I have always been told Jesus was a GIFT to the world.
A gift is something freely given to someone else, No strings, no regrets, so why do we as humans think the GIFT of Free will and of Jesus needs to be paid back with all this praise and worship?. We don't owe GOD anything we are only required to believe and to obey nothing else.
Praise and worship should be a Gift of it-self a way of thanking GOD for everything he has done for us.
But than again is something GOD does not Require, being thankful should always be between you and GOD, not broadcast ed to the world like the pagans in a street corner.
He does not want us to be sad, or depressed. He wants only the best for all of us. It's the choices we make that define what and who we are and of course our path in life. Never ever point at GOD and say My life stinks because you let this happen or that happen, You made the choices in your life don't
point at GOD and blame him for the mistakes you made, you have the ability to make whatever
choices you need to make to improve your life, Look within yourself and listen to your heart. When
faced with a path ask yourself what would Jesus do? I know this is cliche but it's so true.
I look back at my life and I can see where if I had Jesus and God in my life a little sooner, I would have made very different choices. The bigger question I should be asking myself is. Why did i not have GOD in my life sooner?.
