There are some that contend that this is a parable that never actually took place and deny that it could have ever taken place. To these, who usually hold to a position of soul-sleep or the eradication of the soul at death, we answer; the Lord said that it did take place. Besides, as we have already pointed out, a parable by definition is a “true to life” story. To have meaning, it must be a story that could have actually taken place whether it ever did or not.
tangent off topic of thread (although many false statements or assumptions by others take place also),
the fact that it did not happen,
and the fact that it could not happen,
and the fact that Jesus knew perfectly who He was Speaking to - exposing with the story their own errors in front of everyone else present -
and the fact that it was not a parable
is not easy to ascertain in today's religious thinking world so full of mis-constructions and a multitude of errors
but if Yahweh is obeyed "seek and keep seeking, and you will find; ask and keep asking and it will be given you" the answer is potentially available (accurate explanation in line with all Yahweh's Word and Plan and Purpose).
the 'answer' (understanding) as granted by Yahweh is not welcome in most places,
so it may be at least awkward to obtain,
but Yahweh is true to His Word, and will grant it to all He is pleased to do so.

I don't understsnd why you don't answer ol' boy's question. I've not had too much (any) experience converting Jews to Christianity--but I'm ready to watch and learn from you.

Off topic: can you explain why you use the phrase Yahweh alot?
Firstly, I thought the vowels were to be removed (YHWH)
What's wrong with calling Him Jah or Jehovah? As in Jehovah Rapha (God our healer) etc?
Sometimes I think I see you say Yeshua, and others, Jesus.

Why these Names?
