Where to pick up the Godly chicks?

Really, the only thing I've thought of are rather college clubs or churches to find a good amount of girls who love jesus. The only problem with that is that if you aren't in college, that makes it rather difficult to do the college christian clubs.

I would find it weird to go bunny hopping church to church just to pick up girls.

Obviously though, bars are not really the correct scene to find girls full of purity.

Eharmony seems to just match me up with Christian women whose heroes, most important things, and profiles dont even mention the word God or Jesus- let alone anything more than a cookie cutter "I love my friends, my family, and my [music/puppy/books] are most important to me." and a lot of the christian women online seem to want a man to be a leader in her faith and instead of an equal, a spiritual superior. They want them to be their foundation and main source for God. No offense, but that last one makes me run in terror. You can lecture me as much as you want that "Men are to be spiritual leaders" blah blah, but I really dont care. If there were alpha males for humans, I'd definitely be one, so solely by natural selection I'd want an alpha female who displays just as much strength and leadership as me. I mean really- why settle for a women you have to support, when you could have a women who could kick your butt and challenge you to a good fight? Not that I need to be challenged or supported by a mate, but I sure as heck dont need to be needed emotionally or spiritually. That's God's job, not mine. I'm not God, and never want to be. I'm here to encourage and share, not support and supply. Eharmony women are boring, plain, or just plain weak.

I am totally relying on nothing short of an absolute miracle meeting in some random non-christian place, but looking for my future wife isn't what I'm making this topic about. The lifestyle of dating, having some fun/interested dates with different types of women, all to learn about others, yourself, and see what all is out there besides crazy girls- but really where are the ones who arent crazy, arent emotionally disturbed, but actually know and love God without being quiet plain and boring?

Are all the outgoing girls taken by the world?
Also, I notice anytime I find the rare outgoing girl- depsite the fact they're usually younger than 20- they also happen to have a wedding ring. Is it just my area, or do attractive christian women marry really young?

All I can tell you is: everyone feels this way, a lot of the time. The good single Christians ARE out there...ya just gotta be patient, stay faithful, and trust God. It's as simple as that, but I know it isn't easy

Trust me, it's a lot easier to find a single 18-25 year old than it is to find a single 30+ year old! I don't think online dating sites are a good idea, especially since they suck up so much of your money. And I've had the same deal as you with places like Eharmony - all the "matches" they send you aren't anything that you actually want lol.

I'd stick with your church (you never know when someone new will come in!). Have you tried to find local Christian singles groups? What kinds of hobbies do you have? If you can join with a group of people who like the same thing, you can meet new people that way, too. If you like reading, hang out in bookstores and libraries. Be creative, and get yourself out there. Most couples meet each other just by living life, not through any specific "matchmaking" means.

seriously though it can be rough out there and frustrating but ultimately i think all you can do, after putting yourself out there to actually meet people, is leave the rest in Gods hands. And i know thats easier said than done but in the end if you want a Godly relationship its best to put God in control entirely and rely on His good judgment.

Oh, well that makes it easier than. I've already told God what kind of girls it would be nice to date before I find the right one. I guess I'm just not ready yet to have another relationship that ends shortly after it begins.

Why I was only ever in one acting class was beyond me!

From what I can see though, the women of this forum dont seem to be any different from the women who are in our churches- except for the fact theres more of them! haha

I'm confused at the world and life. I'm looking for a women who stands out from among the rest- but there are none who stand out. It's not just women either. Men seem to be pretty boring as well :\

Why was I so blessed with so much hyperactive exciting energy where I'm never tired until I need sleep. Where are all the women who bounce off the walls like rubber bouncey balls of femininity? Or atleast a slinky. Those were fun.

Regarding the OP: The only suggestion I have is getting involved in activities where you can come in contact with plenty of women, giving you a better chance to meet someone you'd like to date. If you like politics, get involved in a campaign (obviously it's too late for presidential elections, but there are plenty of local elections to help out in) or volunteer at an animal shelter if you love animals (and maybe meet a fellow animal lover). Meetup.com is a good site for finding some group activities in your area. Of course, I'm not dating anyone so who knows if those ideas would actually work, but they sound logical

No offense, but there's nothing logical about dating becoming a second job!

Really to be honest, there's no girl worth changing who I am just to get her. Political campaigns, animal shelters? Totally not me, and for some reason I'd find it rather demeaning to do something that isn't me just to find more girls.

Most women my age are out drinking, partying, clubbing, or studying. Seeing as how I am uncomfortable in any of those 4 things, there aren't many options for me.

A few times I've gone to Mardels to shop, primarily to meet girls, but only thirdly to shop bc I love shopping, and secondly bc I love the peace of God there.

I dont have a problem meeting women. I have a problem meeting women who stand out from the mundane masses of BORRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!

Technically I could just goto the mall and meet hundreds of extremely attractive, nice women. The problem with that though is the ratio of bad/crazy/unchristian ones to sane/kind/christian ones is incredibly skewed, and the prospect of going out girl-hunting only to have the mass majority of them be "OH NO RUN AWAY QUICK! QUICKER!!!" type girls and the few who are sane not be my type is rather depressing of an idea.

Quality women are too difficult to find. They need to have a single place they all go to, lol. Then I'd be able to satisfy my desire to date a bunch of different types of women, without the horrible nightmare of 99% of them being so scary it makes me never even want to find the right one, lol.

No, you were really clear.

It's just myself is not doing stuff and I was giving you a hard time or something. I joke a lot too.

It's just that if I were to do something extracurricular, it would easily become a youth pastors assistant again. I cant see myself doing anything else when it comes to dedication and committment, hard work, etc. Unfortunately, as much as it sounds illogical- you dont really meet that many girls doing that. Most of the people in the ministry are male, or women married to said male, or 15 year old girls.

Like I said, all the girls my age are busy drinking and partying or working and studying. Or crazy. The online girls are crazy with a Kapital K.

For some reason in the area I live- the youth church is flourishing, but the college ministries are on life support. I dont know if it's bc of college (bible college in another state) and 19 year olds getting married or what- but the college/career ministries are really empty in most of the churches. It's definitely not the age to be in church.

It is really hard to not have premarital sex/etc, and not marry young. So obviously people who are attractive and good will marry young if they can. Even if the culture goes against it.

And I agree, it seems that most of those who are pretty and Christian/etc, that I see on the online dating sites, are young.

(There are some pretty older women on this site though, I think)

Also, I agree on the other comments about what most women our age are doing (and I like studying, and it is true for men to).

I am, however, willing to do something that isn't standard for me in order to meet women. I don't consider it demeaning, I don't want someone who is just like me and has just the same interests. In fact, that would make them a bit boring!

It's true that in many churches, young Christian men and women will date and marry very young (under 25). I don't think it's a bad thing at all; it's a sign of a good, healthy, happy, functional Christian church. It stinks a bit for us who are left single, but...I'd rather have this "problem" than have a church full of unmarried people.
