Yeah red--why did you leave out Ron Paul? Are you sure your not working for the major media companies? lol

And thats correct Jon--in spite of the media black out and the whole establishment coming out against him, he has managed thru the internet to raise over $20 millions dollars and secured delegates. Ron Paul's candidacy is truly an American revolution the likes this country hasn't seen in many decades. Ron is not backed by any big corporate or TV preachers maga ministries sponsers like ALL of the rest of the puppets running.

It's truly the American people who want Ron Paul because he is the only one who has been consistently pro-Constitution for his 16 yrs in Congress. While the rest have histories anti-freedom, anti-Constitution, and anti-American voting records, Ron does not.

I'm telling you folks--Ron IS the only true American candidate to lead this country back to the sovereign nation it once was before the communists took over.

Here is just one small example of what Ron Paul stands for. Congress did not label him "Dr. NO" for nothing. If a bill is unConstituional or BAD for America--he votes NO on it.

Congress Should Read the Bills Before they Vote!
Paul Introduces the Sunlight Rule

March 14, 2006

Washington, DC: Congressman Ron Paul of Texas recently introduced the “Sunlight Rule,” which would radically change the way Washington does business-- for the better. As Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis famously stated, “Sunlight is the best disinfectant.” Congressman Paul proposes to shine a bright light on the House of Representatives and restore integrity to that institution by putting an end to the outrageous practice of voting on huge spending bills that have not been read.
The Sunlight Rule changes the actual procedural practices of the U.S. House of Representatives. It requires all bills to be made available to members of Congress at least ten days before a vote. The Rule also allows ordinary citizens to publicly censure their Representative if he or she votes for a bill brought to the floor without the ten-day review period.
While it might amaze many Americans to know that members of Congress virtually never read the bills they pass, it’s a common practice. Many bills are thousands of pages long and contain thousands of spending earmarks. Since most bills are never read except by their actual authors-- often staffers or even lobbyists, not the elected Representatives themselves-- the opportunities for taxpayer abuse are enormous.
“Average Americans often wonder how so much pork-barrel spending happens in Washington, and why it can’t be stopped,” Paul stated. “One big reason is that most members of Congress have no idea what’s really in the bills they pass. The latest budget vote is a perfect example. We voted at 4 in the morning on a huge bill that wasn’t even finished until midnight. Nobody could have read it. It funded thousands of pet projects and earmarks. Is this any way to vote on a budget that spends 2.7 trillion dollars?”
“That’s why I introduced the Sunlight Rule, to let Congress actually read the bills they pass,” Paul concluded. “It’s the least they can do with your money.”

Ron Paul again....

On Illegal Immigration and Border Security
Illegal immigration is on the forefront of many Americans’ minds lately and with good reason. The Center for Immigration Studies has recently reported that our immigrant population is now 37 million, up from 27 million in 1997. 1 in 3 of these immigrants are here illegally. We have a problem that has exploded in the last 10 years with no appreciable change in border security since September 11 when we were supposed to take a hard look at the problem.
We have security issues at home and our resources are running thin. Our education system is stretched, and immigration accounts for virtually all the national increase in public school enrollment in the last 2 decades. There is a worker present in 78% of immigrant households using at least one major welfare program, according to the same study. It’s no surprise then that often times these immigrants can afford to work for lower wages. They are subsidized by our government to do so.
Right now we are subsidizing a lot of illegal immigration with our robust social programs and it is an outrage that instead of coming to the United States as a land of opportunity, many come for the security guaranteed by government forced transfer payments through our welfare system. I have opposed giving federal assistance to illegal immigrants and have introduced legislation that ends this practice. In the last major House-passed immigration bill I attempted to introduce an amendment that would make illegal immigrants ineligible for any federal assistance. Unfortunately, that amendment was ruled "not relevant" to immigration reform. I believe it is very relevant to taxpayers, however, who are being taken advantage of through the welfare system. Illegal immigrants should never be eligible for public schooling, social security checks, welfare checks, free healthcare, food stamps, or any other form government assistance.
The anchor baby phenomenon has also been very problematic. Simply being born on US soil to illegal immigrant parents should not trigger automatic citizenship. This encourages many dangerous behaviors and there are many unintended consequences as a result of this blanket policy. I am against amnesty and I have introduced an amendment to the Constitution (H.J. Res 46) which will end this form of amnesty.
I have also supported the strengthening our border and increasing the number of border patrol agents. It is an outrage that our best trained border guards are sent to Iraq instead of guarding our borders. For national security, we need to give more attention to our own border which is being illegally breached every day, and yet the government shirks one of its few constitutionally mandated duties, namely to defend this country. Citizens lose twice with our current insecure border situation – we don’t have the protection we should have, and then taxpayers have to deal with the fallout in the form of overstretched public resources and loss of jobs.
The anger is understandable when it comes to illegal immigration and the problems with our borders. I will continue to fight in Congress for more effective ways to address these issues in keeping with the Constitutional mandate to protect America .

Ron Who?:)

About Ron Paul

about-ron.jpg
Congressman Ron Paul is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation’s capital. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. Paul tirelessly works for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. ......

service.jpg
Ron Paul was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Gettysburg College and the Duke University School of Medicine, before proudly serving as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force during the 1960s. He and his wife Carol moved to Texas in 1968, where he began his medical practice in Brazoria County.......

While serving in Congress during the late 1970s and early 1980s, Dr. Paul’s limited-government ideals were not popular in Washington. In 1976, he was one of only four Republican congressmen to endorse Ronald Reagan for president.

During that time, Congressman Paul served on the House Banking committee, where he was a strong advocate for sound monetary policy and an outspoken critic of the Federal Reserve’s inflationary measures. He was an unwavering advocate of pro-life and pro-family values. Dr. Paul consistently voted to lower or abolish federal taxes, spending and regulation, and used his House seat to actively promote the return of government to its proper constitutional levels. In 1984, he voluntarily relinquished his House seat and returned to his medical practice.

congressional-record.jpg
Dr. Paul returned to Congress in 1997 to represent the 14th congressional district of Texas. He presently serves on the House Committee on Financial Services and the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. He continues to advocate a dramatic reduction in the size of the federal government and a return to constitutional principles.......

Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record:
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war......

Did I forget any other 'Leading' Democratic or Republican candidates......

Guiliani was being included as a major candidate and Ron Paul was not.

JM
Is that the basis on which Guiliani is being included as a major candidate? We had "major candidates" long before the Iowa caucuses so that cannot be used as a measure.

This is the kind of media blackout Paul is enduring. It's disgusting!!

NYTimes Censors Ron Paul (He got 2nd in Nevada primary!!!!) Date: Sun, 20 Jan 2008 18:48:19 -0800

NYTimes Censors Ron Paul
If we don't pass this around to those who don't know what is going on, theywill never find out. Alan

NYTimes Censors Ron Paul
http://www.charlotteconservative.com/index.php/2008/01/nytimes-censors-ron-p
aul/

This is the third piece I have written today about the blatent and disgusting censorship of Ron Paul after beating John McCain today and
finished second in all voting in Nevada's primary.

Ron Paul finished second today beating McCain, Thompson, Giuliani andHuckabee in Nevada.
Yet the rag newspaper New York Times found a way to continue to ignore RonPaul.
The "official results page" on the New York Times website does not even list Ron Paul as a candidate.

Ron Paul has led Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson in almost every state so far and has finished second today which is higher than either of them havefinished anywhere.

But the New York times thinks this isn't worth their ink to print. Ron Paul out performed Senator Edwards today 3 to 1 in percentage points but
still they dont even print his name.
The New York Times apparently received the phone call informing them not to give any publicity to Ron Paul, and like a good little corporate tool, they listened.

Explain this image, explain why the 4rth highest ranking candidate is notlisted amongst the 6 candidates on the "official results" page?

Is that the basis on which Guiliani is being included as a major candidate? We had "major candidates" long before the Iowa caucuses so that cannot be used as a measure.

He had a lot of media attention and was popular among people who didn't know much about him because of this.

NYTimes Censors Ron Paul

If we don't pass this around to those who don't know what is going on, they
will never find out. Alan

This is the third piece I have written today about the blatent and
disgusting censorship of Ron Paul after beating John McCain today and
finished second in all voting in Nevada's primary.

Ron Paul finished second today beating McCain, Thompson, Giuliani and
Huckabee in Nevada.

Yet the rag newspaper New York Times found a way to continue to ignore Ron
Paul.

The "official results page" on the New York Times website does not even list
Ron Paul as a candidate.

Ron Paul has led Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson in almost every state so
far and has finished second today which is higher than either of them have
finished anywhere.

But the New York times thinks this isn't worth their ink to print.
Ron Paul out performed Senator Edwards today 3 to 1 in percentage points but
still they dont even print his name.

The New York Times apparently received the phone call informing them not to
give any publicity to Ron Paul, and like a good little corporate tool, they
listened.

Explain this image, explain why the 4rth highest ranking candidate is not
listed amongst the 6 candidates on the "official results" page?

Welcome to the corruption party New York Times, I will spool your paper and
keep it next to my toilet.

Paul has never, ever voted against his stated principle, the phrase
describes him."
