To live in a way that brings you into a closer relationship with God, set your mind upon Him. Romans 8:5-8 NLT Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.

Occupy your mind with Christ. Let your thoughts be focused upon Him, upon His Word, sing His praise, call upon His name. It is "God (who) has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin." 1 Cor 1:30 NLT Surely if God offered us life when we were sinners and set against Him, He will more than give us life when we have believed in Him and offered ourselves to Him in mind, heart, deed, and word.

Give Him thanks for all His blessings for He makes the sun to rise on the just and unjust alike. Sing His praise for He is good and His mercy endures forever. Tell Him you love Him and seek to obey Him always. Set your mind upon Him and allow Him to guide you into a more fruitful life.

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. (Colossians 3:1-4 ESV)

I try hard not to use the word "NEVER"!

Blessings.
