So why are Christians so divided. I find some fellowship with some Christians on line. I find fellowship among my school, professors, and students. Online their seems to be nothing but division. You have people which get brave behind a keyboard, but that is the only place they are. So many times they are rude and offending saying things they would not dare if they were to be held accountable. i guess they forget God sees it.
In ever post I have done at least one person has argued against it, even a positive to post meant to be supportive, they post that they are not supportive, why not just not post. Why be negative in a positive post?
There are people on here who look through post to find something they disagree with and then say they disagree. i told a story reflecting Salvation, some one accused m,e of speaking against the Bible, and when I ask them to prove it with the word, they could not and ran from the post. In fact what I said was inline with the Bible, i suspect the person was jealous and has issues, or an anti christ (that being anyone who does not believe Jesus is Lord in their heart, he who denies the Father and son is anit christ, So I guess that is a true name for atheist).
It all seems petty, and I understand now why my school is pushing us to teach the mind of Christ, which is unity, selflessness and humbleness. In fact I need to work on this my self. The Bible passages from which this is taken is Philippians 2:1-11.
I have preached against gay marriage with few of my friends, yet others of my friends are gay. Funny but they are nicer people then many Christians I have met. Does this mean they are saved no, but one could question if the Christians who attack everyone are saved. I find it funny I posted something to men and women who serve, and they condemn Christian soldiers who fight because it goes against what Jesus taught. Yet these same people will attack a Christian Brother or sister, Is that not worse what they did, they say well we do not kill them, They are doing the same thing attacking people. They are hypocrites. 1 john 3:15 says 15 Anyone who hates another brother or sister[a] is really a murderer at heart. And you know that murderers dont have eternal life within them.
which answered my question to another post I did, No A child of God can not hate another child of God.
And this proves a point, here I am talking about God and God just answered one of my questions by showing me 1 john. Someone suggested that God does not speak through His Children, maybe this is jealous if it is a child of God can not be jealous of another for how close he is to God. Their is no jealousy in Love, Cor 13. So what is your thought? Do you think God speaks through His children? But for the people who say no God does not, these are the same which like to argue with other Christians, they can't admit it because they would convict them selves of arguing against God. Let me clear that before some one attacks it. I am not saying arguing with a person is arguing with God. I am saying if God is speaking to you through a person and you argue you are arguing against God. So how do you know the difference? You have to Know the Bible. If some one is speaking in line with The word of God, they are speaking truth. What is another name for The Holy Spirit? The spirit of Truth. So it safe to say God is at least guiding them.
That is the problem, if you don't know the Bible well enough you find your self arguing against God. Does God children rebel against Him?
A rule on most forums is you can not call people out that they are not a Christian. In fact this seems to be the rule in the church as well. But Jesus said we would know the tree by its fruit. To many people have done much damage to Christians good name given to us by Jesus. Simply by claim they are a Christian and preaching false doctrine. Sure we know they are not Christians, but to non Christians they do not know they difference. We should call out those who preach false doctrine because if we do not no one else will and we will suffer for their crimes. In this world any way.
So getting back to my gay friends and that whole issue. I will still say being gay is a sin, which God has said, and I am against gay marriage, but you know what. I am against porn as well, and how women dress on Tv and in Movies. I am against the world selling sex. I am against video games with half naked women. i am against women going topless in new york as they now can after that law was passed. what is my point? It is all the same sin, sexual immorality. Maybe we need to focus on the whole picture instead of one piece of it such as gays. I had a friend no longer who was very liberal lives in New York, is all for gay marriage and women going topless, sees nothing wrong with it. He took his 4 year old daughter to a gay pride parade in New york afterwards he posted on facebook it was a mistake. he said have naked men were lap dancing on each other and dry humping each on with little more on that a G string. Women were all topless and not acting much better. he said he now had to explain these actions to his 4 year old daughter who did not understand. We stop being friends over this issue, and now he is mad for their behavior in front of his child. careful what you ask for.
Which brings me to my next point. The world is changing and becoming less friendly to children. We as adults in the 80's and even early 90's had things for adults and for children. We shielded are children from the world, now it is hard to find a family program on TV. There is almost full nudity on TV now, and swearing is common. Some things you could not say on the radio but since howard stern had sex with a woman on the radio the radio has gotten just as bad as TV if not worse.( a good Christian radio station is K love, Good modern day Christian music rock and pop, you can find them online and listen and also type in your location and they will give a station you can listen to them).
So how is this affecting our children, well look around you, and we say what is wrong with the youth. I got a better question what is wrong with the adults.
We need to speak out not just against the gays, but sexual immorality, this sin which includes many the Bible says is the starting point of a great fall of the people. It leads to all things wicked, and to death. If we cut out sex immorality the murders would cut way down, stealing, and all other sins. In fact do we think about stealing now days. i mean it is so common place we just know to lock are doors to the car and house, put thing valuable out of sight. Have the people just accepted this?
So as for me no longer am I saying I am against gay marriage. I think Christians need every chance to preach Gods word. I will say i am against all sexual immorality. Maybe then some one will immoral how? And I can say well here it is in the Bible. Paul said these people pay the price with in them selves. what did he mean. They are in hell with in them selves, unstable is another word he used. Trust me these people do not even know what happiness is. If they say they are it is an illusion like a drunk says he is happy, yeah why you getting drunk if your so happy?
satan means adversary . I will expose everything I see him doing as long as God gives me strength. God protects me. Most people do not want to follow evil, but are deceived in to think they are doing right. We all as Christians should expose all deceit. This is shining the Light of Truth on the darkness. The Spirit Of Truth is The Holy Spirit. So God is for us, then who can stand against us.
