I'm in Thessaloniki, Greece. I go to one of the churches that the Apostle Paul wrote a couple of letters to :). In fact one church I go to is built on the location where Paul first preached to the Thessalonikians (why do English bibles say Thessalonians?)

Backgroundwise, I'm an Aussie who married a lovely Macedonian Greek woman and consequently moved to Greece :D. Τι να κάνω;

Kalo Pascha (Happy Easter)
Kali Anastasi (Joyous Resurrection)

John.

I'm moving to Bucks in August. Chalfont St Peter, to be precise.

Wow, my church is located in CSP. I notice you are Catholic - you will probably be looking to attend St. Joseph's...I have been to a few services there over the years. I hope you enjoy your time here! Unfortunately I am hoping to move out of the area in July/August but if still around I will make sure to send you a welcome at the time!

Addaperle - or you could try a church like the one in the NT where all members are baptised as believers and all have received the Spirit, speaking in tongues (see Acts 2v4, 33, 39; 10v44-48, 11v14-18). And where meetings give all the opportunity of receiving and giving , "the gifts":-
choruses/spiritual songs
tesimony by someone of what God has done for them
talk from the bible
hymn & communion (sunday meetings only)
2 or 3 gifts of tongues, each with interpretation
2 or 3 prophecies
prayer line (gifts of healing and faith)
closing song/notices
tea

. . . ."all things done decently and in order", "the spirit of the
prophets are subject to the prophets", God does not "take people over" - as detailed in 1 Corinthians 14
