Nice work, I didnt read it all but saved it for later. His Exodus route seems accurate too.

I am not convinced that the arguments put forward by www.biblicalheritage.org with respect to the ten commandments are sound.

Whilst nominal Judaism has a hard time accepting that YHWH has incarnated as the Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth, it is not true that the Judeo-Christian Scriptures (as distinct from large parts of the Christian Church) teaches that Jesus of Nazareth is Divine.

The Judeo-Christian Scriptures teach that YHWH has incarnated as the Messiah but they distinguish between the Messiah existing as Divine and the Messiah existing as human (since the two are not one and the same). Whilst the Person of the Son, whether existing as Divine or existing as human, is always the same, the way in which the Son exists as Divine and exists as human is fundamentally different. Therefore Jesus of Nazareth is no more Divine than YHWH is human but the Son, existing as the incarnate Messiah, is both Divine and human.

The fundametal problem is that, as time has gone on, large parts of the Church has got more and more sloppy in its theology resulting in a fundamental change in the message that she proclaims (i.e. instead of proclaiming that YHWH has incarnated as a human creature, she now proclaims that a human creature is God) to one that is inherently both blasphemous and heretical. Consequently, the message of large parts of the Church has unjustly (in that the message should never have been allowed to change) and quite rightly become anathema to both Jews and Muslims (because Jews and Muslims instinctively know that no creature could ever be Divine).

Personally I believe that this change has come about as a result of sustained subtle demonic influence within the Church that has altered the emphasis in Judeo-Christian theology as a prelude to becoming a part of the eschatological one world false religion (Rev.17). I believe that many who now consider and declare themselves to be 'Christians' are, in actual fact, 'false believers' who are flooding the Church with false teaching and confusion, not that they are consciously and deliberately doing this but rather that they are being duped by the Evil One and are being manipulated by him to unwittingly fulfil that purpose. I also believe that there are those who are holding to the Truth and teaching what the Scriptures actually reveal (whilst placing the emphases back in all the right points).

I think that this controversy over the ten commandments is just another part of the deceptive smoke screen of the Evil One.
