  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

My 16 year old son got his first job!!! He started Sunday. he is working at a little Beef place making fries, mozz sticks, hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. I can't believe he is old enough to start getting a paycheck!! It is so exciting yet scary to see him being so grown up. He will be getting his drivers license this year also. My mom said to me last night. "everything changes once they start driving. they suddenly are an adult and dont need you for everything". wow!!!

LOL..3 yr olds are so cute! i have a 3 yr old niece and she is like a little old lady!! she says the cutest things. My dad was babysitting her and she had to go potty. He brought her into the bathroom thinking she might need help since she is fairly newly potty-trained. She put her hands on her hips, looked up at my dad and said "I would please like some privacy now Grandpa."...lol my dad felt kinda silly and walked out of the bathroom.

I can really relate to this. I have a recently turned 16 year old who put in her first job application last night. Sometimes it seems incomprehensible that I have such a mature young lady for a child. You are so very right...

There with ya. My oldest turns 18 in two months. I remember his birth as if it were yesterday. Oh, the things we've been through. And now he will be a legal adult.
We have 6 children, and even though the youngest is 4, and we are not able to have any more children naturally, I miss the development stages of the early years.
God bless you in your parenting.

Peace.
