...I've been to Phoenix, your city rocks!

That's what people always tell me. There is lots to do and lots of different short vacations you can take while still being in AZ. And I do take the scenery for granted, BUT, I think what gets me is the fact that in Phoenix there's no water, rarely rains, and then the 120 F summers. Oh, and the fact that summer last from April-November.

I love how when you get out the pool you dry off pretty much immediately. There isnt much need for a towel.

I live in Western Canada. The small city I live in has a population of about 80,000.

I live in a small village in the south east of the Netherlands, population 2,000 (and a lot of shetland ponies). I don't like it at all here, especially because it's impossible to live here in the middle of nowhere (to Dutch standards) without a driver's licence (and no, getting it is not an option - I get bingoed in this area much more than on my childfreedom). We buried our kitty Okki in my parents' garden - that's how much I want to leave this place.

I was born in a larger village (30,000) somewhat more southern but less eastern in the Netherlands. I want to move back to my home region, where my parents live and where our parish is.

I'm a PhD student and housewife, although I suspect I should call myself a household manager in this company. Thing is, I suck at management. But I am at home (not a very clean one, I should add), and I am a wife, so housewife it is.
