strength

Our strength lies in our relationship with God. When I came to Russia, I felt like the enemy was going to kill me. I was messed up emotionally, spiritually, physically and mentally. I needed to recover. The Lord has led me to rest, go to the doctor, read the Bible and spiritual literature and to pray. I also did some ministry work. I gradually felt him lifting me up. I’ve spent much time with Him. My time couldn’t have been used any better. where do you find stregth?

Hi Sasha,I find my strength in exactly the same place that you discovered it,at the feet of Jesus. I also love to listen to praise/worshps songs,besides reading His word and other Christian books, both non-fiction and fiction. Prayer is also extremely important,since we can't have a close relationship with Him if we don't even communicate. It makes me feel closer to Him as well. We also must put on the Whole armor of God.

I find strength in knowing that although I am weak I have a relationship with the ALMIGHTY God. He and He alone is my strength, without Him in my life I would never be able to do anything that would have a lasting impact on the world around me.

It is when I humble myself at the foot of the cross and admit to myself and God that I am weak that the Lord can step in and bring His strength in to any situation.

1 Corinthians 1:27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;

2 Corinthians 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

My strength comes from abiding in the presence of the Lord and allowing His strength to work through my weakness, thus impacting the world in ways I never could on my own.

i often find strength and solace in prayer and praise and worship, when i feel the enemy coming at me i start praying and singing about the LORD and satan flees, i am ever so grateful that even when in this life at my points of weakness GOD was there carrying me through(footprints in the sand). i also draw strength not only in prayer and praise and worship but in reflection, i often reflect in this way when i am in a valley and think that i am all alone and too weak to go one more spiritual step, i look at JESUS on the cross and think if this one person could face all he faced and ascend into heaven on the third day, then by the grace and mercy of the ONE who died for our sins, i will too find strength in HIM to make it through my weaknesses(trials/valley's). i figure because JESUS endured for me all that he has so that i may have eternal life, through confession of sin, believing in him, and accepting him as my SAVIOUR, then i should have the strength to endure what trials come my way. it does not mean i always understand why things are the way they are but i know GOD is in control. thanks for posting this it has been a blessing to me and has caused me to stop and really evaluate where i am today and where i should be, take care and GOD BLESS

my strength is also found in the lord, and in those who work for and through him. I have often found my challenges and fears decreased through prayer and growing closer in love and prayer to my heavenly father.
