Ariel Bloomers' Turn Your Pain Into Art includes a chapter on "Joy Hunting", which teaches the exercise of looking for good things in your life that bring you joy.

So, where do you find joy in your life?

(My answer to this question is probably instrumental music, waterfalls, and flowers. For me joy has a pure quality to it, victory is more of a savage happiness, though I do like the latter. Joy is borne more of God's creation and appreciation for what God has made, rather than a sense of accomplishment.)

Experiencing peace in family relationships, peace with God, being useful in His kingdom, being useful with family/friends/work, being able to contribute to the well-being of others / society, listening or making music, a glass of wine, reading/learning, dancing, travelling & exploring ..

Some things that bring me joy are doing my hobbies, spending time with my family, talking with my friends, doing good deeds, spending time in nature, listening to music I like, and cute and wholesome content.
