Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm here too. I think people might feel a little snake-bit by some of the recent threads. I get most of my Christian childfree fellowship from the FB group, but I check things out here when there's fresh activity

I haven't been active because I don't see much going on lol. The people that are ok with kids are allowed in the section so I don't mind it. Although I think it is hurtful that they are allowed here and yet if we post in the main section we get belittled and modded sometimes.
But so far the posters from that section are friendly in this section. And overall this is just one of this topics that alot don't like to talk about for fear of being judged. My wife and I haven't really told anyone about not having kids yet.

My girlfriend and I are pretty proud of the fact that we are able to make our own choices in Christ based on our relationship with Him and each other. We both have heard everything under the sun...and just like God himself said, "There's nothing new under the sun." (Ecclesiastes 1:9)
We can't go through out life fearing the judgement of others, even other Christians. So basically forget what others think of you, and only focus on how God sees you.

I'm here. I'll try to visit more often. I wish the rule that parents can post in fellowship but not debate was better enforced, however.

I don't people that ask questions and challenge my beliefs, but what I really dislike are posters (or poster) who come here to belittle or condescend.
