Yes their is spirtual discernment. Read first Corinthians chapter 2. You need the holy spirit to have spiritual discernment. Those who are carnal minded have spirt of stupor. Only Jesus can give spirtual sight. Many people have spirit of stupor. Psalm chapter 49:19. Majority have spirit of slumber. God's Election have holy spirit, read Roman's chapter 11, first Peter chapter 1, and romans chapter 8. God's election are predestined, chosen before foundation of the world.
