Where are you tonight?
Please describe your plight.
Are you giving in?
Drowning in your sin?

Do you see the truth?
Like a rotten tooth?
There’s nowhere to go
To hide what you know.

Cover what you may.
Darkness now will stay.
Knowing the way out
Does not move the doubt.

Look into the heart.
That is where you part
From what is the truth,
Doing what’s uncouth.

Darkness there prevails.
Flesh will always fail.
Heart not giv’n to God.
You are such a fraud!

Profess what you may,
Nothing seems to sway
You to follow Christ.
You are giv’n to flight.

Circle you around,
You are such a clown.
Everything’s a game,
So you stay the same.

Until you repent
And obey your Lord,
You’ll keep giving in,
Deep within your sin.

Tonight I was praying about gaza. Someone is switching their loyalties to the Christian’s there, while trying to get sympathy for hams. Look the caused rafah to be destroyed.. it had me upset that I don’t feel sympathy for hamas. They caused the war. It’s their fault. And Christian’s are in the middle everywhere in the Middle East.

I’ve seen enough of Christian’s being persecuted by terrorists in the world. I appreciate Israel for their stand on terrorism. Christians will go to heaven, but that doesn’t justify their deaths. I want the salt and light to be removed notkilled. It’s an urgency every time this persecution and beatings and deaths are reported. Watching from comfort is not a good place to be in while it’s happening. It’s against the grain like at no other time. It’s cross grain cutting, where the good perish at the hands of untruth.

I don’t see any good in it at all, the good is trying to be wiped out. The world is mad and terrorism is the cutting edge. Thank you for listening or ignoring. But you said ‘where are you tonight. Now I can sleep. The Christian’s in gaza I hope the have pure hearts. I pray for them. I’m wanting them to live. But in this world? In that place!?

I am saddened by all the wars and by all the murdering of innocent lives, especially that so many Christians are being put to death for their faith in Jesus Christ. So, I empathize with you. But be careful about what you hear coming from the governments of nations and from the news media and from institutional religion, too. For not everything that is claimed as happening is the truth of what is really happening. We live in an age of mass deception and trickery and slight-of-hand tricks on the people of this world. We live in the last days before the return of Christ, and so much that is being reported as what is going on is not the truth. Much prayer and discernment is required of all of us who profess the name of Jesus so that we don't end up supporting our enemies while rejecting the truth tellers.

Yes, but I believe what I am hearing from an Israeli Christian. They are fighting a clean war in history. Their soldier to civilian ratio is very low. They could stop fighting you know if they loved life. But all I see is insane hatred from hamas. And I don’t know what to think about Christian’s in gaxa. Are they innocents? But again caught in a war all around them. Some probably died. But hamas is paying the piper For their crimes against Israel.

And someone will come along and build them up again and give them unjust money and what’s going to happen. Is there anybody so stubborn as to do all it again? The area is changing again. Let’s hope for the best but a military presence will be necessary. Aid is ample and with hamas gone maybe they can live in peace And eat in peace. I thought the left wanted peace.

Yes, are we sure who our enemies are? And our allies. I guess this is not the place to be airing my views, but a safe place it is! I’m sorry. This will be my last post in your devotional area. But that is where I was and there is no further excuse to go on. A nice poem you wrote and with great sentiments and conviction. I like your poetry. It flows so well.

it’s surprising how you spoke to me in that poem, and it’s surprising how others did not jump at the chance to speak their minds on this one. Thank you for the opportunity. I will keep reading.
