  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Where are all the bones?

Well, if it is really Satan then he is becoming a bit lax because some recent dino fossils don't quite jive with the millions of years which evolution demands.

Of course after recovering from the initial shock to their basic beliefs which require millions of years, and which included a belief that soft tissue could never survive such a duration of time, atheist archeologists immediately began furiously seeking a way to reconcile such a serious discrepancy with what they propose to be undeniably true.

The article describes what they finally are proposing as an acceptable viable explanation from their new viewpoint. So now their universe doesn't seem so topsy turvy to them anymore again.

So I guess the Devil's Dino scamming archeological sloppiness almost induced a heart attack this time.

I would like to see the source where you got that information. Understanding my interest in your post is not evolution but the dinosaur fossil age question.

Seriously? Do you have any idea how the soft tissue came about?

Well, there are Young Earth Scientists who view that discovery as indisputable evidence which proves that the claims of millions of years for such fossils was wrong all along.

Not surprisingly, evolutionists cited in the article strive to reconcile their evolutionary theory which depends on millions of years with the new discovery by explaining how chemical processes involving iron in the tissue could have made it possible. A complete about face from their previously opinion that such a thing was totally impossible.

But one can understand why they must find an explanation since otherwise they would have to totally discard every single thing that they have been proposing since Darwin and that is totally unacceptable from their standpoint.

In short, there is NOTHING which they can discover which can prove them wrong because they will always figure out a way to get around evidence which indicates that they are wrong via a proposal of some mechanism which just might have been the reason for the serious discrepancy.

But if it is the Devil who is forging those fossils as was suggested, then he sure took them for a ride this time.

LOL!

Dinosaur soft tissue
In seeming desperation, evolutionists turn to iron to preserve the idea of millions of years.

A lot of science's junk can be force-fitted by computer programs, as well as trial-and-error.

And if they have to, they will even rig votes in their favor.

The human capacity for irrationality truly has no bounds!

Your premise is profoundly defective.

That's identical to the "NO true Scotsman!" fallacy.
Do you have an example of an actual "young earth scientist" - the kind with an actual degree in a relevant geological field?

I know a Christian who is an old earth scientist. He has a relevant PhD in geology, and is employed by a large oil company in Texas to help find oil. Guess what none of his co-workers are.

Glenn Morton?

He called me Omphalos, as did Aron-ra.

So don't take it personally.
Don't make it personal. Discuss the idea or make general statements as the rules require. Otherwise it discourages discussion or can or in the case of the less emotionally stable or mature, turn it into a name-calling contest. I don't engage in that sort of thing. I simply use my ignore option.

That is the bandwagon fallacy.

BTW
Here is the irrationality I was referring to:
Carbon-14-dated dinosaur bones are less than 40,000 years old
http://newgeology.us/presentation48.html

Anyone who calls that fanatical, evolutionist reaction rational is irrational himself or doesn't know what irrationality is.
