  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Notice all these men posting are single lol I think it changes when you get married or get in a serious relationship. Most of my ex's loved to be babied when they were sick and whined a lot lol. Guys love to whine about their ailments, whether they admit to it or not.

You're so right! The moment these guys are in a serious relationship or married, they'll be whining, too. ;)

Yes and No.

Yes ~ because somtimes i want to share my suffering and have someone tell me it will be alright and give me a hug.

No ~ because when i am unwell i am thankful that no one can see me in such a pitiful state... for example, i have regular migraine atacks and i usually walk around with an ice pack (sometime a bag of peas) strapped to my head...i look a complete dork and i really don't want anyone to see me like that anyway :D

I'm also chronically asthmatic and that isn't pretty at time's either, so i kind of like to be alone in those situations anyway.

The one very real fear i have is that something will happen to me and that the children will have to cope with that :(...i used to seriously fear that i would die in the night and that they'd find me stone cold dead the next morning...what a cheery soul i am :)

God bless.

Ha ha! I've heard that. Most women state that men are the biggest babies when it comes to them being sick. They expected to be waited on and have all their needs met for them as if they were a newborn.
So men act like women when we're sick? Got it. :)

At times I would perfer to be left alone, because I have seen how other family members are when they are sick and that have that person to be around them and the get really winey and take all the attention in.. I just don't want to be a grump when I am sick(which I am usually not).. But the idea of having that person there for you when you are sick if you need them is a nice thought.
