Iran continually threatens to destroy Israel. It may be nuclear armed before too long. Kim of North Korea hates to be out of the spotlight. He may do something stupid and dangerous to regain some attention.

COVID has given governments all over the world an excuse to be more and more authoritarian. Locust plagues, drought, war and political instability threaten the relative peace of the world. It's sobering to think that since independence, the USA has had 15 years when it has not been at war with someone. The UK became united in 1707. Since then, they have fought 120 wars. So there is nothing new about armed conflict.

We can live in fear of what is going on, we can even try to reverse the course of the human race (good luck with that!) or we can see things from God's point of view. Psalm 2 and 1 Thessalonians 2 give us the answer. We have nothing to fear. God in heaven laughs at the machinations of wicked men. The time will come when God says, "Enough" and the pride and arrogance of rebellious men will be silenced. They will be shattered, not physically, but in their heart. They will have no answer to the might and power of out God.

Lord Jesus just has to breath on the Lawless one and he is finished. The same breath that gave life to Adam slays God's enemy. The Lawless one will be destroyed just by Lord Jesus appearing.

God says to His people, "Do not fear" at least 365 times in the Bible. That's once for every day of the year. If you are not one of God's people, now is the best time to receive Christ. Get on the winning side! Tomorrow may be too late.

We should take a lesson from pirates and have a patch over one eye.

Before times pirates would board ships and fight to overtake the ship or treasures it was carrying.

So jumping over and down into the dark bowels of the ship they would not see anything.

I think it takes about four minutes to gain night vision, and a lot can happen in four minutes.

But by switching the patch to the other eye there is no delay.

When the Nations gather to surround Israel,
they will be struck by confusion,

and not knowing who is who they will slay eachother.

Israel here meaning Nation Israel,

wherever there is a Jew there is Israel.

And Israel will be lifted up to safety.

That is if it comes to afore mentioned scenario.

I've been seeing a lot of spiritual people of various faiths recently talking about how they believe something big is coming, a big change is about to take place, etc. and not just the "age of Aquarius" type of thing but with putting various ancient prophecies together from various sources along with such things about government disclosure of UFOs and all sorts of this and that. It seems to be heating up everywhere.

Only God knows when Christ will come again, but as it is good to be prepared in the general sense, it is even better to be prepared in the spiritual sense.

Yeah, but you do not know what is coming. If I were you, I would be scared because you have good reason. But you reject God and His truth, so sure, you will not be afraid. Even though you should be.

I've been seeing a lot of spiritual people of various faiths recently talking about how they believe something big is coming, a big change is about to take place, etc. and not just the "age of Aquarius" type of thing but with putting various ancient prophecies together from various sources along with such things about government disclosure of UFOs and all sorts of this and that. It seems to be heating up everywhere.

Only God knows when Christ will come again, but as it is good to be prepared in the general sense, it is even better to be prepared in the spiritual sense.

We have seen tyrants rise and fall in the past.

The problem often is: before they fall they cause all kinds of horror and misery. Perhaps its comforting that they dont win out in the end (whatever that means). But in the meantime the suffering and ruined lives is nothing to scoff at.

It will get worse. However, Christians have the assurance that God is in complete control of their lives. The people of the world have no such assurance. Christians should know that God's grace is sufficient in whatever circumstance they are in. We should be so at peace that unbelievers will be impressed. Some Christians seem to have more faith in the devil than they do in God.

Yup there is difference between saying you have faith and actually living like you have faith. Faith in who? God or government / ”experts” these experts have like replaced God according to how some people live.
