When You Read Scripture It Will Change You're Life

Even if its in small increments.
Sometimes I just stare at the words and am in awe.
Even if its only opening the bible and reading a couple words.
Once in the morning and once at night.
We're all looking for God and we have all of his words available to us.

That's the truth! The thing that gets me is that, I have been reading this book for over 20 years. And I still find more and more layers under the surface of the words. I ask Lord for help all the time because I need His Spirit to truly understand what He is teaching me. And Yup! Just like you said, sometimes the smallest verse will change my whole life... Again, for the first time... Again. S'hard to explain. But I definitely agree with you.

When I realized Jesus was King reading the Bible has impacted me so differently, I was a 'believer' but my heart wasn't fully surrendered. Once I submitted to God I read His words it's like they truly sink in and become who I am.
