Since I found God and was born again. Before I truly accepted Jesus i remember i never used to feel anything while i used to prayer nothing. I didn't felt once when I was in the church before i found Jesus, but thats it. I know many christian say faith is not just feelings and I agree. But I also can not deny what I feel when I pray. Sometimes I pray and feel nothing or its weak feeling. When I am more concentrate on God I feel love, peace as if I am in Heaven that sometimes don't want to stop praying.

Does any of you also had same experience? It often happens when I pray longer then 5 minutes.

Hi :) God bless you and welcome to Christian Forums :) I am Bill.

We feel things like raging anger and unforgiveness and demanding desires for selfish and vain things. You can feel what is a reality.

But God is quiet . . . very kind to our soul, yes, but gentle and quiet and humble, "and you will find rest for your souls." (in Matthew 11:28-30).

You feel how pleasant and kind this rest is. Love has feelings.

But there is lust which ones confuse with love. Lust is demanding and dominating and dictatorial and driving. People feel how they are being controlled and driven by lusts making them desperate to try to feel something nicer than their own deep lousy and awful selfish nature.

But God's love is pleasant and so superior to physical pleasures and adrenaline rush things. God's love does not only have us feeling pleasant, but >

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love." (1 John 4:18)

You can feel the different sorts of "torment" which are because of fear. But love is gentle and humble and pleasant, better than any pleasure feels, and doing us so much more good, even making us pleasing to our Father. Our Father, Himself, feels how He is pleased or not. God does have feelings ! ! !

"rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (1 Peter 3:4)

And we enjoy how we are while we are gently and quietly pleasing to our Father. Jesus feels very pleasing.
