When I really believed

There was a time when my 25 years of belief seemed to be nothing, unreal and useless. Having grown up all my life as a strong believer/faithful follower, it was a shock of my life that I even had such a thought or come to such a state of doubt. It was the lowest point of my life where everything felt like a random speck of dust out of nowhere.

Do I still believe or give up? Do I even have a choice? If God is real then I have no choice but to believe the truth even when it feels so unreal, useless, and nothing. I could not choose otherwise because I knew that the history proves the existence of the person of Christ and the prophecies fulfilled in Him. That's when I met Him for real and everything changed after that. Now I see the fruits of my faith and experiencing the richness of the love of God.

Which prophecies seemed most significant to you? People often post lists of dozens of prophecies, but that seems to be quantity over quality. Fulfillment of a few quality prophecies is more persuasive than questionable fulfillment of dozens of prophecies.

That's when I met Him for real and everything changed after that. Now I see the fruits of my faith and experiencing the richness of the love of God.

It's nice to see somebody highlight the importance of a life of experiences and personality growth to confirm the gamble made on Christianity. In my old church there was a song before communion with lyrics "taste and see how good the Lord is" (paraphrasing from memory). Those who claim that there is compelling objective evidence for belief in Christianity such that no gamble is required are not being honest. A person must gamble/"taste and see". The historical and philosophical reasons many argue for Christianity are only sufficient to create enough curiosity to make a gamble.

I think this is so true. There comes a time when you can decide which direction you will go, even when you are a new believer and you decide for God and He reveals Himself in amazing ways and in my experience never stops.

Ok first off God does not create robots. Second to prove the existence of God if a God in the flesh dying for your sins, so you can go to heaven won't convince you, nothing will. That is how much God loves you. He formed you in the womb. He knows everything about you. He is knocking on your heart now. Only you can let Him in.
