  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

My husband & I want a large family. We just had our 1st son, Isaiah on June 20! :D He is such a blessing! I really hope that God allows us to have a large family. I agree with ChristianMama84 - We will adopt if for some reason we cannot get pregnant again. We are going to start trying again when Isaiah is 6 months old.

I had the BEST pregnancy! When I first got pregnant, I was so worried about everything. My mom couldn't carry my brother or I full term. I was born 9 weeks early, & my brother was 6 weeks early - so I was paranoid about that. Once I finally gave all of that anxiety to God & just let Him do what He wanted with me, I REALLY enjoyed my pregnancy! I went to 38 weeks & had to be induced because of pregnancy induced hypertension.

I'm very blessed though too with my midwife. She is a dear friend of mine. I wish everyone could experience to have a good friend deliver their child. Having her deliver Isaiah was so much more intimate & personal than if I had a doctor delivery him. (Unless of course you're friends with your dr. :) )

All I can say is ~ when we put our trust in the Lord, He always comes thru...maybe not in the way we want or expect, but always in a blessing that glorifies Himself.

In bitterness of soul Hannah wept much and prayed to the Lord. And she made a vow, saying, "O Lord Almighty, if you will only look upon your servant's misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head."
1 Samuel 1:10-11
So in the course of time Hannah conceived and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, saying, "Because I asked the Lord for him."
1 Samuel 1:20

One of my favorite stories! I love Hannah's dedication of her son Samuel to the Lord. God is faithful! :) He cares about what we desire!
