When God ran

The Great I Am
Immoveable Rock,
Omnipotent powerful

Awesome Lord,
Victorious Warrior
Commanding King of Kings
Mighty Conquerer,

And the only time,
the only time I ever saw Him run
Was when

He ran to me,
Took me in His arms, held my head to His chest
And said "My son's come home again".
Looked in my face, wiped the tears from my eyes
With forgiveness in His voice
He said "Son, do you know I still love you?"

It caught me by surprise when God ran

The day I left Home,
I knew I'd broken His heart
I wondered if
Things would ever be the same,

Then one night,
I remembered His love for me
And down that dusty road, ahead I could see
It was the only time,
the only time I ever saw Him run

I Love It,I Love It ,I Love,It! What a neat,neat way to think of this story! Makes me remember the only time I saw myDad run,once while we were on vacation and ran out of gas in the Rockies,because a town we had gone to for gas had turned out to be a ghost town! So he pulled over and started hitching and when a ride stopped down the road for him,I saw him run for it,LOL! But this is so SWEET I am going to print it and give to my pastor this morning! Thank you,my sweet sis in Christ. I believe forevermore, I will picture Jesus running towards the Prodigal Son now everytime I hear this story in church!
