CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was enrolled in english and fitness for life. The fall semester starts this Monday. I am taking College Algebra, Elementary Piano, Intro to Philosophy, Intro to American Music History, and Pol/ Soc History.

I go back next week on the 23rd. I have an interesting mix of classes this semester with a lot of variety considering I am a senior. My major is business management, and I am taking 16 credits this semester. I have Business communication, intro to mass communication(which counts for 3 management credits, yes!), operations management, principles of finance, intro to ethics, and earth science.
I just got bad news as I got the mail today regarding our wintersession(which is normally just before the spring semester in January). It's cancelled for this year!!! This means I have to make up 3 credits somewhere to graduate in the spring. Uggh!!!!! I am so mad that they did this. I don't know what I am going to do.
