When did dinosaurs turn into birds?

I have no problem with dinos eating meat prior to the flood. What I showed you was that animals can have sharp teeth NOT used for eating meat.

I showed you we have more than opinions when it comes to the diet of dinosaurs. We have supported conclusions, contrary to your claims.

I didn't claim anything....I PROVED sharp teeth don't need to be used on meat. I suggest you move on.

The fruit bat.....quite a concept.
images

The teeth of a fruit bat and the teeth of, say, a t-rex, are wildly different. Yes, fruit bats have sharp teeth - but they also have things like molars, non-sharp teeth that are essential for grinding for grinding fruit.

Compare this with the teeth of carnivores like lions and the t-rex and sharks, and you notice the immediate difference. The t-rex has nothing BUT sharp teeth, all the way down. It's mouth isn't made for eating fruit. Period. You can tell very reliably what an animal eats based of its teeth, but you need to look at more than one or two of them.

Yesterday I read an article....written by evos....that told me before the dinos turned into birds they began to eat fruit.

Now, if you want to believe that a dino with sharp teeth had to only eat meat...go ahead. It's what your faith calls for.

You seem to have serious problems with category errors. If we find one mammal that has sharp teeth and is a carnivore, does this mean that all mammals are carnivores and have sharp teeth?

Also, we have evidence. We don't use faith. However, it is interesting to see you use faith as a term of derision. Tells us a lot about how you view your own faith-based religious beliefs.

There were herbivorous dinosaurs, so I don't see how that's a problem.

Where was this article, anyway?

You'll have to google it.

I did. I found no such article suggesting anything of the kind. I strongly suspect you either never read any such article and you're just making it up to score points in an argument, or you did read it and you just misunderstood what they said.

And again, there were herbivorous dinosaurs, so I don't see how this bolsters your point, even if true. The fact is that you can reliably tell what animal eats based on its teeth. Dinosaurs like the t-Rex lacked the teeth needed to eat plants.

Herbivores need teeth that are capable of grinding plants. Carnivores don't have these teeth.

I also saw an article that suggested T-Rex was a scavenger. What I do know is that they don't know.

Even if it was, that doesn't erase the fact that t-Rex ate meat, so I don't see the relevance of bringing it up. Just because we don't know certain things about an animal doesn't mean we can't know anything about it.

I'm glad we settled that.....Here's what the article said
"The T. rex tooth was wedged into the spine of a hardosaurus, but the fossil evidence suggests that the hardodsaur's backbone had grown over the tooth, indicating that the creature healed and likely lived for years after a failed attack."

After all, who's to say the hardosaurus didn't attack the T-Rex over territorial right, defending the nest...whatever?

It doesn't prove it was a hunter.

You know, I really don't appreciate your accusations. Now, if you would have said, I looked and couldn't find it, could you please check your history or re-google it for me I would appreciate it.

Then I kindly would have done that...but NOOOOOOOO, you had to lead off with some sort of ad-hom. So, no. Go find it yourself.

That's too bad.

I strongly doubt that.

but NOOOOOOOO, you had to lead off with some sort of ad-hom. So, no. Go find it yourself.

Sorry, but no, I will not be supporting your own argument for you.

I'm not sure why you expect me to beg for you to support your argument. It's your argument. One would think you'd WANT to support it.

Also, that wasn't an ad-hom.

Sorry, but writing 'NEXT' in big, fat letters doesn't make me automatically move on or ignore things you've written and done. You're not a moderator, and you don't have any authority to dictate the path of a conversation. It's just an immature attempt at humor on your part. A failed attempt. When you're losing an argument, you can't just tell people to move on at your whim.

Now, back to the topic at hand. Do you understand that we can tell what an animal eats based on its teeth? You've yet to present anything that disputes this point.

Dinosaurs, birds, and man were all on the Ark at the same time.

Where these bird like dinosaurs (all have teeth, non fused finger digits and tails) on the Ark as well?

Archaeopteryx.png

Yutyrannus huali.png

A plume feathered "furry" predator weighting in at about 1.5 metric ton and 9 meters (30 feet) length.

Khaan mckennai.png

Ovoraptor Khaan mckennani (about 1 meters - ~3 feet).

Sinornithosaurus.png

A microraptor weighting in at around 3kg and ~1 meter (3 feet) in length.

Microraptor gui.png

Just another avian microraptor....

And then what about all plants, how did they survive hundred of days under water?
