  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am seventeen weeks pregnant at the moment, and yesterday I felt the baby kick for the first time! I've felt three since then. It's so nice to finally be able to feel something. For the past few weeks DH has been telling me that he can feel the baby moving around when he puts his hands on my tummy, but to be honest I couldn't really tell the difference between that and indigestion :) To go from that to definite kicks is fantastic.

I can't remember when I first felt it with Isabel, but I'm pretty sure it was before my ultrasound, which was at 19 weeks. When did you guys feel the first kick?

God Bless.

Kristy

i first felt shiloh kick at 13 weeks. i know that everybody says that you can't feel it that early, but i certainly did, and my husband even could feel it, too! she was incredibly active throughout the whole pregnancy, though, so it's no surprise that i could feel her that early. :)

I first felt the baby kick at nineteen weeks. It was just after the New Year came in (around 2 AM) and I was jokingly saying he was a little too late for the party.

I don't remember with my daughter it's been so long ago. Isn't that sad? :( I know I recorded it in her baby book but I just can't recall. Maybe 5-6 months. I don't know. This time I plan on writing everything down, photos of my monthly growth-the whole shabang!

With my first I was around 5 months..

With this one I've already been feeling the baby move and I'm just 14 weeks. The other night I laid on my back and only one side of my uterus was sticking out and I could actually see the baby move a little. The doctors said it was probably because I was thin..

With my last pregnancy I felt my son kicking my bladder at 10 wks. Everyone said it wasn't that but as he got bigger his kicks to my bladder (I guess he was fascinated with my bladder) got stronger to the point sometimes I felt like I had to go.
I will be 14 weeks along with this pregnancy on Friday. I felt this one move twice already. The first time I wasn't sure but yesturday I was sure it was the baby. At this time it doesn't feel like a kick, it feels more like a squirming feeling. It only lasted for a moment.
