I know their was a post like this a while back...but ...i dont wanna go searching right now.

trevor is almost 6 months old and loves sleeping with blankets, but im too chicken to let him sleep with them at night, only for naps when i can peek in on him. He LOVES them but sometimes get them pulled over his face and cant get them off. He doesnt fuss when their over his face but it still worries me.

when do ya'll think a good age is

I think they say not until one year old, but to tell you the truth, we use blankets. Not thick quilts or anything, but still.

When he was little, I used the blankets that babies sleep in. They sell them online at babies r us and other places. You put them in their jammies and then you zip them up in the blanket thing. I would reccomend one without arms so your little one doesn't get too hot.

We didn't use a blanket until one year old. But that *might* explain his sleeping at night... why he sleeps better during the day. We discovered right away that David being cold causes him to wake, ME being cold causes me to wake, so we bought those bags that BethMae is talking about, they are rated 0-9 months, they look like a baby in a sack. It has arms but the bottom is a fuzzy sack blanket. He loooooved them and chewed on the sleeves and slept good. I didn't give him a blanket until he was a year old. After he grew out of the sacks, I couldn't find any for bigger (but have since seen them for sale in JcPenney's catalog for bigger sizes so apparently they exist!!) so I got him the Gerber jammies that are fuzzy with feet and all and put him in two layers with a onesie underneath and socks. Safer than a blanket I figured.
