I haven't written a mission statement yet, but some visions I have include:
-Planting a church called, "The Church of the Upper Room"
-Starting a 24/7 ministry called, STREETS. Think of the show COPS but with a total ministry mindset to it. How it will work would be to get teams that will work 3 shifts every 24 hours. They will have one phone that the community will have the number to. People can call with any number of different needs (spiritual and physical) to which members of the teams will go out and respond to. In addition, when not many calls come in, the teams will just be led by the Spirit to go serve and minister to whoever they are led to including homeless people, shut-ins, hospital visits, etc.
It's going to be a pretty big building that will not only serve as the church sanctuary but apartments for church workers, and offices too. STREETS video footage will be outsourced to a Christian video production company. And in turn, the company will edit all the video and audio to make it suitable for TV broadcast. Network advertising from airing STREETS will be the main income source for funding this.
So what kind of things do you know the Lord is calling you to do in life?
