Every couple has their special thing... like, an in-joke or something they do that means the world to them, and mostly makes others raise their eyebrows and go "what am I missing?"

I think 'things' are sooo cute!! So, share here

I'll tell our 'thing' first

Before we were going out (I really really liked him at the time), Chris and I used to spend a lot of time (literally up to two hours sometimes!!) 'chin-pinch fighting'. I'd pinch his chin, he'd pretend to hate it, and we'd get caught up wrestling each other trying to get the last chin-pinch in!! It was almost always at night, usually if he was dropping me home from something. We'd stand outside on my front lawn and tackle each other. VERY flirtatious.
I believe that chin-pinch fighting contributed a lot to us getting together. One night we were chin-pinch fighting for ages, then we just kinda... cuddled a little. Then I kissed him on the cheek, he kissed me on the forehead... I kissed him again, he kissed me again... and then I ran inside completely flustered!!
A couple of days later we were a couple.
We still looooove chin-pinch fighting and wrestling. It makes him feel strong and manly, and it makes me feel little and girly. He always kicks my butt, and I wouldn't have it any other way

I agree with you, 'things' are cute. My brother and his wife like to call one another 'Smoopy'.
Thomas and I don't have a 'thing' as of yet. But that is only because we only get to chat online for now. I know that when we meet we will! Thomas and I both like to get a reaction out of people, and I think that migth contribute to it!

I don't have to show my face so it's ok to admit this. Don't ask me how it started, all I can remember is she was on her time of the month and I was trying to make her feel better.

Try this next time you kiss your partner (if you dare) One of you puts their lips just inside the other's mouth and talks, makes noises, yells, whatever. It feels so weird! I think it was significant cause we laughed for hours, literally. It's amazing how long you can do this for when you begin the laugh together.

Wow, where do I start? Well we call each other punk and buzzard ha ha...we finish each others jokes and sometimes no one else gets them but thats okay...we have our own handshake...wow we have alot of things that are just ours...and I love it!

When Mark and I are just sitting and chilling out, or with a lot of people, we'll hold hands and squeeze three times to say "I love you" without saying it out loud...

Our nicknames for each other are Pinky (me) and Squishy (him)

We also use these to give each other clues of what we're thinking...

Someone says come over after church, it's 1 for yes, 2 for no. Then we don't have to discuss it in front of them, but we each know how the other is feeling about the question so we can decide.

1 - Yes
2 - No
3 - I love you.

Nobody else can see, because his other arm is covering it up. So we'll be chatting away, and he's drawing little circles on my arm. It drives me crazy (in a really good way!!) I don't know why... but it just makes my heart pound....

My partner and I every now ask the other to rate our relationship 1-10.

If it's a 10 its good news. (But it's rarely 10)

So if it's not then it's followed by another question, "so what do I have to do to make it a 10?!"

We do that! Matt will stand there drawing on my arm with his finger, its so...i dunno, not sexy, just sweet, I know he's thinking of me.

What else, we lick each other, that sounds gorss but occasionally one of us will lean over as if to kiss the other one lightly on the cheek, and then just lick them! We eskimo kiss. There's our winks, I cant wink with my right eye and Matt'll wink with one eye, i'll reciprocate, then he'll wink with the other, and i'll try to but of course I cant, he thinks I look cute trying to wink. We also pull a funny face thats very us (see pic). kinda sucking your lip up your nose! *lovely*

I like the 3fingers thing, would be so useful!

Before we actually started dating we'd gone through a long period of time not talking to eachother due to frustrations and not knowing how to settle our differences as "just friends". But when we finally started talking again, he was shy and couldn't quite come out and say that he loved me and wanted us to be together. I could see it.. I knew it, but I was awful and tortured him and enjoyed myself for awhile pretending I didn't and finally I made him say it. This is where our joke, "I wear the pants" starts. I started off in the relationship wearing the pants, but I gave them to him. Every now and then in public we might still say things like, "oops, look like I just stole your pants!" when one or the other is being shy or not very bold in our feelings.. ya, that usually gets some eyebrows!
