CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

All of my spare time is split between Hiking (5 to 12 miles a day) and Ham Radio.
Within Ham Radio, my interests are CW (morse code - "talking with your fingers") ... and building antennas.

I like to read, surf the web, cross stitch, and watch movies. I seldom have time though, my boys keep me busy.

I enjoy mountain biking. I just leave it all behind and take out my frustration on the hills. That and working out; I personally don't consider reading a hobby, it's a must.

I make music (mostly the ambient variety these days), play board games and tabletop role-playing games, read a lot, listen to music, watch movies and the occasional tv show, paint miniatures and hang out with my wife...

When I have free time, I enjoy doing many things. I enjoy hanging out with family and friends going places wether its shopping, sports, for a walk, movies, or even staying at home doing things. My most favorite thing to do in the summer is going to the lake and going jet skiing, or tubing. There's just so many wonderful things to do and great places to see.
