I have had many hobbies in my life. Some of them I have not
been involved in for years but I will list ones I am still
interested in along with my current hobbies.

- anime/animation
- chatting (mainly the efnet IRC network)
- collecting coins (only did this when I was in junior high)
- collecting vintage computers (mainly have gotten out of this
in favor of the video game collection ;))
- collecting vintage video games (126 unique atari 2600 games anyone?)
- collecting RPG's and other misc games (such as boardgames)
- computers (well this is what I went to BSU for.. CS)
- DIY (covers a lot not covered in other hobbies)
- drawing
- electronics (A/V conversion of vintage games recently)
- electronics repair
- old Ford trucks 67-72 and Ford vans 68-74
- fixing cars/trucks (good to pursue this hobby :))
- games (all kinds from card/board/RPGs to computer/video, MUDs)
- genealogy
- model airplanes & rockets (flying models!)
- model railroading (never got into it much but I'm still interested)
- movies (OLD and new)
- old house restoration/repair
- woodworking
- writing (poetry and stories)

some not listed above because I have not done much but
would like to in the future:
cooking, gardening, upolstery (for a truck mainly ;)), antiques,
hmmm I think I'll stop there.. else this post could go on for too long..

I love woodworking, carpentry, exploring old ghost towns, collecting antiques, old bottles, and gun collecting.... just typical guy stuff.

Not all of it is guy stuff. :) I would explore a ghost town if I knew where to find one. Antiques and old bottles are right up my alley. Although to be honest I don't have a lot of old bottles. Do you have specific bottles you collect? Or Antiques? Or just what catches your eye?

My husband collects old (electric pole) insulators, snuff bottles, and juicers.

One of my hobbies is community theater. It's kind of like 'playing with adults'!

Hmm- not sure how that sounds... but it's innocent! I almost enjoy all the practices and fellowship with our little group more than actually putting on the performancees!

Ahh swimming, see now I can't swim. Always wanted to, but never learned.:sigh:

Community theater sounds like fun! My girlfriend in San Diego does the costumes and backdrops for a local group there. I wish we had something like that here. My town is way to small for theatre.

Our town is pretty small too. We just have a small group- seems like it's pretty much the same people that end up doing everything sometimes. But I'm not complaining! It's just a chore sometimes- getting a big cast together for a musical is really difficult- to get enough people to fill out a chorus, and find enough MEN in particular to fill all the parts. One of those hobbies that can be a lot of work- you really have to love it!

Thats great there granny.... It's whatever I can find in the old dumps, but mostly pre 1900 ones. Have boxes and boxes of them.
Love going through those old mining camps, seeing the way lived back then.
Ok, i take it back.... not all is guy stuff.... just fun stuff, how about that!!

My granny used to collect bottles - the kind that turn colors. She had a few shelves by the kitchen sink full of bottles.
When I was a little girl we would go bottle hunting in old abandoned dumps.

My mom used to take me to see plays when I was a little girl. I guess with 7 brothers she felt I needed a little culture. We would get our hair done and dress up to go see little plays. I have always loved going to plays, but hubby has never wanted to. If there was one here I would probably take my mother-in law. It would be great after all of these years.
Also one of my bosses wayyyyy back when was an amateur actor - I went to almost all of his plays.

My husband would totally freak out if I told him I spent the day at the dump rooting through trash. :p

On second thought . . . it might just be worth it just to see the expression on his face.
Yes, He might change his mind if you had found some pretty victorian era bottles
