Theres no point droobie, all my favourite aussie expressions use the F'word and without the F'word, it's not funny at all...

It comes from aussie movies like Bad eggs...
Come on Cobba!... I think if we all chip in, things will get pretty hunky dory!

No worries isnt unique to Aussie either. :p Im from New Zealand and I know lots of people that use that all the time.
My favourite of them would have to be 'drongo.'
Which for those who are 'less cultured' ;) means a variety of things depending on how you phrase it. Anything from dork, to clown, idiot etc, im sure you get the idea... :p

I like fair dinkum. That's pretty cool. There are a few I hate such as Sheila (grrr, that makes me mad)
I use fair dinkum a lot... though a friend of mine from overseas always wondered why Aussies were always talking about a 'third income'?

I like "fair dinkum" too. I like it even more after what you said Droobie ("third income") That quacks me up duckie! :)

Did you know Muzza that "drongo" was the name of a racehorse back in I think the 30's. That's where we got the expression. The horse was useless!

Oh, Shaard up ya F'-en F' (sorry, I can't help it... aussies make the swear word much much less offensive, that it's almosts like a common slang)

John Howards speech to the world about Saddam's actions;
Thats just not fair dinkum

My friends speech on the olympic night when the GG accidentally hit the microphone LIVE;
Whats that old bum doing there, get-in drunk

My speech to teens that arrive from Hong Kong;
Look mate, ya gotta start hittin the gears and learn some decent australian or you can go bugger off back to where everything bloody survives on dirty cash....everything here is graus

You city fella's talk different to us in the country. THAT word isn't in the vocab...not in the decent people's. We just tell 'em to nick off.
Johnny Howard's speech's are always fair dinkum. Struth mate! He's our Prime Minnie!!
Best cobber a bloke could have!
My speech to people moving to the country..
Look mate, ya gotta get with it. Either you learn the lingo or nick off back to the big smoke. So get yourself into gear an' start learnin' how t' boil the billy an' make a flamin' damper or you won't last a week out here! If the flamin' power goes off for a day ya gotta have some snags an' a cuppa! Crikey! I dunno...these city slickers...take 'em inta the bush, put a blindfold on 'em, turn 'em round once an' they're screamin' blue murder. It's not on mate! Oh! an' while you're at it...gawd struth! You've burn't the flamin' bangers! Oh well, get the dead 'orse an' we'll eat 'em with that. Takes the burnt taste out. Nothin' like dead 'orse on bangers. (dead horse = tomato sauce)
Now what can be plainer than that to a newcomer to the country?
Mind you, I have to edit my posts so many times as I am country Aussie through and through. Paul Hogan...you're a imposter on Croc Dundee! Ya dunno the lingo ya drongo!
