Just because I bought the DVD and watch it every other night (gotta take a break, you know?) doesn't mean it's one of my favorites. :p

Dumb and Dumber is one of those movies I like watching when I don't want to get enthralled into a plot and just need/want something silly.

P.S. I don't really watch it every other night. Once a week is enough :p :D

My favorite hands down no contest. Is The Matrix (first one). Nothing come close second for me. Other movies I like are the Indiana Jones series, Gone With the Wind (It's a classic. Was my favorite movie for twelve years and then I saw Matrix), 8 Mile was really good, Malcom X, The Order is my latest favorite, Pirates of the Carribean (gotta love that Johnny Depp), Star Trex movies, Ya Ya Sisterhood I just adored, Laura Croft Tomb Raider was awesome, Shrek I just love (you know there is a Shrek 2 coming out), Lion King was a genious, School Daze was way too funny, Batman (the first one) was really good. Hmm that's a long enough list.

If you can't tell I like going to the movies :)

"Miracle" yes, I am a HUGE hockey fan but I found the story itself very interesting. Many things that you really didn't hear about at the time of the "Miracle On Ice" are told in the film. Kurt Russell does an excellent job of playing coach Herb Brooks. There is a scene in the movie where he gives a speech to the team that I just could listen to all day...it's so inspiring. (now...if the Canucks could hear that speech!!!) I highly recommend this film....whether you are a hockey fan or not.

"A Clockwork Orange" I think Stan did a wonderful job in directing this movie and I'm hoping someone would do a remake of it.

"Caligula" (Unrated version) I love historical movies especially if it's about megalomaniac leaders. This movie is not for the lil kiddies.

"Breakfast Club" and "Sixteen Candles" typical teen movies, but I like it alot.

My favorite film of all time is, you guessed it, Memento. It's not only my favorite though, it's also the best made film of all time, in my eyes.

Ahhhhh, I forgot to put Memento on my list. It is really great, one of the best movies of the last five years (Doesn't quite top Mulholland Drive though). BTW, have you seen the Following? Christopher Nolan directed it too, and I haven't seen it yet. Knowing how good Memento is, I'm sure it's great too.

Yes I've seen Following, and it is outstanding. If you like Memento, you must watch it. It's very cool to watch especially after you have seen Memento, because in Following he is sort of playing around with the same type of presentation, so to speak.

You should also see his remake of Insomnia that came out a while ago, it's a great film also, and Williams and Pacino are just great in it.

I am very much looking forward to the new Batman film that he is behind. They have a solid cast, a solid script, and with Nolan at the helm we have nothing at all to worry about.

Christopher Nolan is going to end up being one of the top directors of all time, mark my words. His films have a certain feel to them, a certain style, and it's going to make him a legend.

As you can see, I'm just a fan of all things Christopher Nolan, heh.

I love A Beautiful Mind also, and the soundtrack to that film is my personal favorite. I listen to it when I wish to become inspired, and it never fails. Charlote Church's rendition of All Love Can Be is just beautiful, poetry in musical form, it's just so powerful. Of course, she herself is powerful. That voice, wow.

So many of my favorites have been listed.

My favorite religious movie is still "Jesus of Nazareth," even after having seen "Passion." It's a more complete telling of the story of Christ.

Secular films-

Memento- great; had to watch several times in a row to catch it all.
Jeremiah Johnson- a favorite I didn't see listed.
The Horse Whisperer
Zefferelli's Romeo and Juliet
Frequency- had James Caviezal, Jesus in "Passion," in it.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail- an all-time favorite.
LOTR are great.
The Rookie- true story with Dennis Quaid.
Ghost- with Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze

So many more.
