I am a huge fan of the Splinter Cell series. I haven't got the fourth one yet (Double Agent) though. I've beaten them on every setting and had a blast doing so. A great break from the tiresome 1st person shooters.

Tough call... If I had to choose one, I'd say FF IX, though when I finish playing through all the FFs I haven't finished yet, that may change. There's enough love of VI that maybe that really is the best. (I did like VII, but I prefer a more traditional fantasy setting to a technological-fantasy setting)

Other games I've loved:
TES 3: Morrowind (haven't beaten Oblivion yet, so I can't make any comments there)
I really enjoy Devil May Cry 3 (The original, not the easier "special edition"). Nothing feels quite as satisfying as beating one of those bosses. I technically haven't beaten it yet either, but you don't play the DMC games for story .

The FFs, TESs, and DMC 3 are the games I always come back to after side-tracking, so I assume those would qualify as my favorites.

Half-Life 2, with Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion close behind. When I get my new PC and can play Oblivion with a smooth framerate, I have a feeling that it will take the crown from HL2. It's just hard to get the full experience right now.

Final Fantasy VI (or III on Super NES) is by far my favorite game of all time. Nothing will ever top it.

Other games that I love are Radiant Silvergun, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Super Metroid, Super Mario 3, Super Mario World, and Castlevania: SotN.

Yeah, I a couple of years ago I went nuts and I bought a Sega Saturn and all the rare games off ebay. Probably spent around $1000 to get PDS, Dragon Force, Guardian Heroes, Radiant Silvergun, Saturn Bomberman, and Vampire Savior.

Panzer Dragoon Saga was well worth the $200 imo. Sure, it's only 20 hours long and the graphics aren't good anymore, but it has an amazing story, possibly the best RPG battle system, and is amazingly addictive. I've already replayed it three times in the past two years.

I like lots of games. I will go with Mario Kart Double Dash...but I really liked Mario and Luigiartner's in Time, and Sonic DX and ICO is turning out pretty cool too. But Super Mario Sunshiine is awesome...as was Star Fox 64....man it is too hard to choose anything!
