It's 85F here right now - with winds of 26 mph. It's overcast with heavy clouds, and we have a chance of rain. I'm hoping and praying that we do get some rain.

Too much energy tonight for my liking. It's still 80 degrees at 8:00 PM, it's windy and we have a front moving through the area tonight with cooler weather tomorrow. Storms are possible tonight, I hope they don't get violent.

Here in central Maine it's sunny (now that the fog has burned off) and in the 80's, twenty degrees higher than usual. Tomorrow it's supposed to drop back to more "seasonable" 60's. Hoping for lots of sunny days, got a lot of green tomatoes in the garden that I'd love to see ripen up!

We have had a week of wet days and nights
with mean daytime temps of 12-16.C
and dropping to between 4.C and 6.C after dark

We have been putting the heating on for a couple of hours on some nights
whenever our lower legs grow 'numb' in the lower 18" of roomspace

I read on the internet re: the approaching 'Autumnal Equinox'
and the falling leaves [into our garden heralds the coming Autumn [Fall]

I wonder if we will have snow this-year, as we did last-year
My! has it been a whole year since I filmed Mary standing outside
amidst falling snowflakes upto 2" across [?]
I hadn't seen such depth of snow in England, not since my childhood
although I saw and drove through plenty whilst in Germany with the army

Yes, it is colder up here in the North West, during winter
than it is, nearly 200 miles south, in Bristol [or, so memory serves]

Thanks for the best wishes, but it appears to have missed us. We would be happy for any rain at all, but we really need a soaking rain. God Willing - maybe soon.

Our temperature is 56F, and I wonder if it's the same cold front. It's pleasant, but we are expected to go back to the 80s and 90s in several days.
