  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

80 again this morning. My morning run is not as pleasant but the presence of the LORD is still sweet as ever. I expect it will reach our usual 96 today. Sunny, sunny, sunny!

We may get rain tomorrow, and we need it too! Unfortunately it may be with some gusts because it is a tropical storm, due to hit southern FL. By the time it reaches us it may be next to nothing, but it will cause some problems out in the Gulf where the oil spill is.

Last night it was 91 degrees at 9:20! Terribly hot! And very humid. It's hurricane type weather. Felt like a low going on.

We're in for a warm night, and tomorrow might hit the mid 90s. They're saying the chance of rain is between 40 and 60 percent, depending on the time of day I reckon. If it does rain, I expect potential trouble. Too much heat and humidity spells heavy thunderstorms, sooner or later.
