CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The weather can't make up it's mind what it wants to do here. It's still 70sF in the daytime and 30sF at night. The mix of temperature extremes is one of the things responsible for our rough weather in "tornado alley" during this time of the year. We had a thunderstorm last night, and it was the first one for our puppies. It scared them pretty bad and they wanted us to make it stop. We needed the rain but didn't get enough. Does it sound like I'm always complaining about the weather?

Record high of 84 F yesterday. Overcast with thunderstorms coming today, and cooler.
Tom, no matter what the weather may be, someone wants it to be different! And, we all seem to yearn for another season, whenever the extremes of the current season are upon us.

Sunny and 77 again. I sat out in the sun two days in a row now soaking up the Vitamin D as I read a devotional. It has been wonderful!

Hi Joy
Just back from a few days away,visited an old castle near Grantham with beautiful gardens. The flowers were not all out yet as in previous yrs,due to the severe winter.
Overcast here with some outbreaks of sunshine.

The highs have been in the low 80s lately. In the morning it is around 50. Every day has been sunny with a few clouds.

A pleasant day today, temps in the 70s and light winds. Storms tonight and it may get to 80 tomorrow. Windy tomorrow too..... oh, well, I enjoyed not getting blown about while it lasted.
