  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Our high today was 69F in Central Oklahoma. It's been raining off and on all day long, and we are under a flash-flood watch. We are expected to get 3 to 5 inches of rain today and about the same amount over the next couple of days. I've asked and our municipal water supplies are full.

Tom; you could send some of that rain out here in the west. The PNW weather isn't bad today; 77F for a high; but no rain atoll. And the forecast for next week is for highs to be in the 80's and no rain in sight--- Isn't this supposed to be the start of fall weather?

Hey all, sorry haven't checked in. Construction business is in the "fall push", with our first frost a week ago, everyone starts to panic that they won't get projects done before that guy in Canada leaves the freezer door open again for 6 months.
We have been back in the wet weather pattern for a couple weeks again with rains every 2 or 3 days.
High temps have been running in the upper 50s F with lows in the low 40s. I did have to start a fire in the wood furnace last night and again tonight with a low of 37F.

Our high today was 77F, and it's partly cloudy. The weatherman was wrong about more rain, and I'm glad he was. Everything is already soaked and more rain would result in flash flooding.

Very windy and a chilly 43F for a high today. Clouds all day and that wind felt like it was blowing off an iceberg somewhere. Forecast for 100% chance of rain tomorrow. yuck
