  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Windy and a little cool this morning. The temperature is 50 right now, but feels a lot cooler; we are looking for a high today in the low 60's and will get into the 30's tomorrow morning.
I love this time of year in Texas.

It's 41F here today in Central Oklahoma. The weatherman says it will hit 50F, but I don't believe it. The sun is out and it's a beautiful Autumn day.

Down to the 30sF (2C) tonight, which has surprised me as I'm not too cold indoors as usual! I enjoyed a brisk walk in it earlier, but over the previous days it has been wet but mild, which kept the house a bit more comfortable. Some people further north have had severe flooding though.
